I guess I'm a star wars fan boy but I was willing to hear how voldemort would overcome vader. I heard about the death spell but if it's an energy I think Vader could force block it.

No he doesn't. What kind of ignorant idea is this? He uses the lightsaber to block blaster bolts, fight other lightsaber users, and to intimidate the various rebels he's slaughtered. His lightsaber is completely optional in any fight Vader goes into unless his opponent can outmaneuver him, outwit him, or is simply better skilled with a lightsaber than him, which is a rarity in 20 (Years) Before Battle of Yavin and later. Hell, he doesn't even NEED the saber to block blaster bolts, as seen in the scene where he captured Han, Leia, and Chewbacca in The Empire Strikes Back. Not once has he needed the lightsaber to block a force attack, because he's never been attacked by one that CAN be blocked by a lightsaber until the end of Return of the Jedi, which was after he lost his lightsaber.
