I've mentioned this quite often. It is inexcusable to have a consumable meant to help you in the heat of the moment, but requires you to enter your menu and remain vulnerable while you try to use the consumable. Like wtf?!?! Instead we get dance emotes that are essentially useless (not even enjoyable), and these emotes are a type of micro transaction.

Ever seen zombi-u (or zomb-ii not sure what the name was exactly)? To even enter your inventory you need to sit down on the ground and open your backpack while zombies claw at your butthole.

Are you praising that mechanic? Also that sounds like a survival game, where every decision you make determines life or death, much different from a FPS. Overall it is a lame mechanic, that doesn't inspire any sort of fun in my opinion, but that's just my opinion, to each their own
-
Not necessarily praising but showing you that its not that strange of a thing to have a risk involved with using items. I also wouldnt say the purpose of synths are even to "use them in the heat of the moment" but more of as a preparation tool like witcher potions.
-
I'm dumbfounded that this is being defended.
-
Why? To me its something that doesnt matter. I wouldnt care either way but I am leaning towards not wanting it.
-
The only thing inexcusable around here is the gross over-use of the term "inexcusable" from salty players the last few days. I'm sure everyone is impressed by a 5 syllable word, but it's time to calm down folks.

I like the emotes. Makes Destiny stand out. Popping a heavy is usually done (for me) in a safe spot (like the ledge before dropping into Aluk-hul) or in a bubble with armored void.

1. Find cover 2. Crouch behind it 3. Pop heavy synth 4. Return to battle
-
It's so that you can't just be like "Bam heavy" makes you think is it worth the risk
-
Dude come on, you can't honestly think that's a liable reason.
-
If that's the best counter argument you have then that just proves I'm right
-
Dude come on, you can't honestly think that's a liable reason.

Mac ammo for the most powerful weapon slot in the game... yea I'd say it's a viable reason
