I seriously don't know now. I'm a little less hyped for the release of D2. A lot of you brought up some very good points in other post about your clans and your raid teams.
I'm paraphrasing:
After a raid sometimes me and my team like too play some pvp. "Hey guys we were going too play some pvp, I have too kick two of you". That will go over well.
If you find the guy that said that, bump his comment because that is one of the main things us team players and helpful players hate most about this change. We hate too kick people feeling like a @ick after spending hrs having fun with the Full Team. I'll take fun 6v6 (clash, mayhem, ect) over competitive play any day of the week. Idk if you've heard bungie....BUT MOST PLAYERS HATE ToO!!!
"nah, we'll read it on reddit"~Luke
I find soooo many good post on b.net you'd think some of these players were devs. I also see a lot of complaints but its not because we hate the game. Its because we love it, and hate what its becoming in some areas.
I just really don't understand bungies thought process. I cant speak for anyone else, but they only partially listen to some players. Am I alone on this?
Edit: Thanks for the comments and votes. A lot of people are on the fence about the change and its understandable. Took me by surprise. Nothing left to do but wait for the beta....sigh I guess. I'm not at all excited as I once was...like wow.

I wouldn't mind having most of matchmaking be 4v4 but I liked going from a raid to crucible or vise versa with my friends. It was the most fun I had in d1
-
I'm hoping that because of the 4v4, they're going to have solo player lobbies.
-
I loved, sorry: LOVED big team battle on Halo 3. I really wish Bungie would develop a 3 person vehicle like the Warthog for Destiny and have a 12 vs 12 mode on a huge map. Some of my favorite memories in gaming came from huge, chaotic battles and objective games.
-
Competitive players tend to favour a 4v4 setting. I think this is a move to cater for the 1% of people who care about a competitive PvP experience. For the PvP casuals this might not be much fun. But I'll reserve judgment until I play it myself.

7 RespuestasOnly hoping that trials will still be 3v3
-
Sixes r cancer and only reason i hate 4s is bcz all ppl do is spam abilities. Looks like that wont be the case in d2
-
3 RespuestasWhether you like it or not, they have decided to make PvP more competitive, but at the same time they have made a number of changes that they hope will help people to learn from their mistakes and provide more information about what is going on so you know who has supers, who has what power ammo and where they got it, call outs for map locations, etc. Personally I like what I saw of PvP so far. As for the question about raids, no, bungie confirmed in an interview with Fireteam Chat, raids will still be 6 players, strikes will still be 3 players, story missions will still be 1-3 players. The 4v4 is for crucible only.

3 RespuestasEditado por Tom: 5/21/2017 6:45:37 AMPrefer 6v6, the golden guns 6 bullet perk will be really good in pvp😂 on the upside pve 6 go bullets 👌🏻

5 Respuestasif they have 4v4 and 8v8 then i'm fine with it. Never really understood why they had to break from the normal of every other FPS out there (i know it was cause of 3 classes, but that's just dumb)
-
The rationale they gave is that it allows them to design maps better if they know they're designing for four players. From this perspective, I'm at least interested in it. There are too many maps in D1 where a team of six can easily have at least two to three players watching every entrance to a power location simultaneously. If the map design in Destiny 2 makes it so that it's impossible to have more than one person watching every entrance, then we might get a lot more movement and flanking than we currently see (Take Year 1 Control on Rusted Lands; 95% of matches were two teams peaking the same three mid-map lanes over and over again).

1 RespuestaIm a solo que player and I like 4's but I do think they should have at least 1 6v6 playlist and maybe rotate game modes weekly. I have a small feeling bungie will add a 6's playlist by launch or 1st dlc. It dont bother me but I can see where fireteams and clans are coming from so I def support the idea of 6's for them.
-
I mean I see some good points but a lot more bad points on it so it's hard to say till we actually play the beta witch we know is gonna be PvP oriented
-
As long as free for all still exists, I'm good with it
-
2 RespuestasOn the fence suits me perfectly. 4v4 sounds nice and as long as I get some 6v6 clash or mayhem I'll be fine.
-
1 RespuestaI don't know what "show me the the Morty" means, but by God, I'm voting for it.
-
If i can play 4vs4 modes then i would vote but i doubt that I will. I heard they will put trials on first DLC for destiny 2. For that reason, i am out cuz i know some enemy players will cheat through trials.
-
Like: The 4 vs 4 might help with some lag because of less information to download/upload between other players and the server Dislike: Going to be more try hard every match. Who is ready for the swarm of nerfs 2.0?
-
Editado por M4N_OF_T1N: 5/21/2017 5:14:40 AMPvp will just be a pub stomping sweat fest, In D1 a good team of 3-4 can dominate a 6v6 game. Especially if the rest of the lobby's made up of randoms, dropping the team size to 4s is going make it a nightmare for people not in a fire team. They might as well give trials matchmaking, because that's what regular crucibles going to be like.
-
I'm no great pvper but you think they would step it up with more not less people
-
1 RespuestaSzecheun sauce anyone?
-
It's 2017 4v4 ain't cutting it. If I wanted Halo, I would play Halo. I don't know how else to say it.
-
1 RespuestaVery good post, and this is a potential problem that Bungie may need to address. We don't really know how the endgame is going to be in D2, so for all we know most endgame activities could be 4 man. but in the case of 6 man raids, having to kick 2 players would suck major donkey nuts. I think 4v4 is great for pvp overall, but for the above reason, 6's should return for modes like clash, control, and Supremacy. Honestly, they should just make a 6's playlist that rotates maps and those three game modes at random. All 3 game modes, random maps, one playlist. Simple and fun solution.
-
It's a drastic change but nothing is final, anyways it should reduce lag that everyone is always crying about, Bungie has to just choose their moments if that's the reasoning behind it
-
I am a 6v6 guy myself. I like more action and that usually means more targets to shoot at. My fear is that 4v4 and other changes will make the crucible more passive and campy.
-
Now they're trying to be halo. Slow time to kill, 4 on 4, power weapons, less abilities, streamlined subclasses for less diversity... I don't like where they're going
-
Would be okay with it if they have the option to play 6 v 6 as well. I was not the greatest player in PvP but I enjoyed that fact that I could get together with five other friends & run some crucible matches. Made the experience more fun in my opinion. 3 v 3 modes existed for the more hardcore PvP players looking to fine tune there skills for Trials. Going to a 4 v 4 system comes off as them wanting to go back to way Halo multiplayer was & currently is. Most likely to spark interest as a potential eSport.
