I seriously don't know now. I'm a little less hyped for the release of D2. A lot of you brought up some very good points in other post about your clans and your raid teams.
I'm paraphrasing:
After a raid sometimes me and my team like too play some pvp. "Hey guys we were going too play some pvp, I have too kick two of you". That will go over well.
If you find the guy that said that, bump his comment because that is one of the main things us team players and helpful players hate most about this change. We hate too kick people feeling like a @ick after spending hrs having fun with the Full Team. I'll take fun 6v6 (clash, mayhem, ect) over competitive play any day of the week. Idk if you've heard bungie....BUT MOST PLAYERS HATE ToO!!!
"nah, we'll read it on reddit"~Luke
I find soooo many good post on b.net you'd think some of these players were devs. I also see a lot of complaints but its not because we hate the game. Its because we love it, and hate what its becoming in some areas.
I just really don't understand bungies thought process. I cant speak for anyone else, but they only partially listen to some players. Am I alone on this?
Edit: Thanks for the comments and votes. A lot of people are on the fence about the change and its understandable. Took me by surprise. Nothing left to do but wait for the beta....sigh I guess. I'm not at all excited as I once was...like wow.

I'll still play it, just makes it easier for the fireteams to have their own squad to pub stomp. Nothing new, it's a wonder they even have girlfriends, from bungie sucking their diiiiiik all the time
-
I will just GG

2 RespuestasHow can people hate it already?

Editado por mightyking37: 5/21/2017 5:37:13 PMI think it will be more sweaty than ever and one great player can dominate the lobby.
-
4v4 will be good for certain game modes but definitely not all of them that will get boring quick
-
I think we should just give it a chance we don't know how bad or good it will be till we play ourselves, there's no sense in complaining about something none of us have even played for ourselves
-
Its terrible, but the streamer trials tools will probably love it, casual pvpers not so much, and RIP Iron Banner......
-
Can someone hel0 me understand why it matters? Pros and cons of 4v4 instead of 6v6?

I'm not sold on PvP not having any type of 6v6 mode. Just wait and see....
-
I feel neutral about it.

Editado por twinPrimesAreEz: 5/22/2017 3:36:49 AMHate it, 3s are just too slow paced for my tastes and I doubt 4s will be much better. Also, if one player drops out you're completely screwed. Pretty much forces you to team up which I also don't really like.

3 RespuestasI play pve pvp about 50/50. I personally like the change. I like the idea of not getting supered every time I turn a corner.
-
They did it with Halo and it was amazing all the way through. That doesn't mean they got rid of 6v6! but just made Team Slayer and the like all 4 man fireteam oriented, for balance reasons. To everyone who's crying "NO you ruined it all!," remember they have testers who come in to the Theater and play the crap out of those test builds, AND EVERY SINGLE BUNGIE EMPLOYEE has a test copy they play constantly as the private build grows, so they have well over 500-600 people trying it out. Just trust them on this one, they have yet to screw up team size in the past 17 years, I doubt they'll start now
-
It doesn't make sense really. It sends mixed signals. They're implementing a competitive team format (4v4) yet they're not putting in custom matches. It's like when they added skill based matchmaking so that good players would mostly only play other good players yet they admitted to making changed based on lower skilled changes playing against good players.
-
Doesn't matter how many. Shitty players will still get a beat down like me lol.
-
I voted on the fence. It wouldn't have been my first choice. But they don't make these decisions lightly, so I'm curious to see what they're on to.
-
I'm just waiting for the beta to see what it's like.
-
2 RespuestasI honestly don't care as PvP is such a small portion of Destiny. This game is a PvE game and really has nothing to do with competitive anything.
-
I don't give a shit

you forgot the option of Don't care

4v4 is bungie's cop out for their trash servers
-
1 RespuestaIt doesn't matter since there are no dedicated servers.
-
I'm on the fence about it but I honestly think they will still have a 6v6 playlist somewhere in the game for PVP. Whether it be an annual playlist or just a rotated one for a week.

Editado por murkypondwater: 5/21/2017 9:39:29 PMI've been saying since Day 1 that Bungie should draw more from their previous works, aka the Halo series, for Destiny. It was cool that they tried to go way out there for Destiny, steeping out of their comfort zone. But Halo was great, and it makes no sense to completely depart from and ignore the greatness of their older work. It looks like they're taking a half step towards doing this; they're marrying the best parts of Halo with the brilliant colorfulness of Destiny. 4v4 multiplayer is one of said parts.
