As long as the game is good I don't care that it's only 30fps. I've gotten used to it after 3 years it doesn't bother me.
Edit: Just to clarify: I'm not saying I want 30fps. I'd take 60 over 30 any day of the week. However, I'm not going to complain just because Destiny 2 is capped at 30fps. To me, gameplay/content>FPS/Graphics.

2 RespuestasI do care... Many games run in 60 fps, why bungie kept at 30 fps for us playing on console -.-?
-
Master Blaster runs Bartertown

Most of us here will stay play Destiny 2, so I don't know why people are still complaining. I'll prefer 60 FPS over 30 FPS any day, but it doesn't really affect me. If it really bothers someone that much, then they shouldn't buy the game. It's as simple as that.

As long the story is good and game play is fun I'm ok

10 RespuestasEditado por Nigel Peppercock: 5/21/2017 11:16:49 PMWhat games came out this year or last that even run at 60fps on consoles? Go ahead, tell me. I've been used to playing 30fps all my life, and I'm not about to sperg out cause D2 follows suit. I have played The Handsome Collection, which runs at 60fps and that was buttery smooth and very enjoyable. I'd obviously like to have D2 be 60fps if possible but OP is right. I think that maybe Bungie should focus on a way to retain players when they hit the end game for once instead of making it 60fps. Maybe Bungie should expand on the differences of the races and classes and reflect that in the gameplay instead of making it 60fps. Maybe they should stop pushing for a more competitive PvP image and experience when the original vision was about just having fun in PvP if you wanted, instead of making it 60fps. Maybe Bungie should come up with some actual reasons old players who left the game should return before worrying about 60fps. Right now it's: "Destiny 2: More of what you loved... Or hated." And 30fps is a part of that. But before we worry about nitpicking, maybe we should pressure Bungie to make sure that D2 won't be a disappointment like the first game. Instead of complaining about 30fps, why don't we hold Bungie's feet to the fire about not having dedicated servers? THAT is inexcusable.

12 RespuestasEditado por S_for_the_win: 5/21/2017 5:42:48 PMPeople that dont want progression in modern times would have been ok with the "fact" that earth is flat in yesteryears. More frames means progression and it is good for whole industry. Accepting the very minimum in current stantards is being a gullible sheep. Do you have the eye of the tiger or are you superstitious little sheep. Edit: I'm fairly sure that Apollo would have demanded 60fps...

As long as it's a destiny game. I don't care if it's 1.21 jiggawats Marty!!!!!!!!
-
I don't even know what 30fps is! Lol, So yes, I agree.
-
deez nuts
-
But does anyone for sure even know what it is?
-
Have all 3 choices... And going with the ps4 exclusive over my Xbox1 or my PC So frame rate is lower on my list instead of the exclusives.

5 RespuestasAll of a sudden ppl dont care? Smh 😕

3 RespuestasI'll probably be getting on PC for the crispy 60 FPS deliciousness. I'm really looking forward to playing a Bungie game with a high frame rate so I can appreciate the art design even more.
-
I do, playing games in 60fps for a long time and switching back to 30fps gives me a headache
-
35 RespuestasAnd this stance is exactly why it's only 30 fps! If people don't care then why should bungie care? They will read this and see all the likes and think they can continue to sell the community well short Well done
-
7 RespuestasThere isn't an excuse for 30 FPS.
-
43 RespuestasYou are basically saying: "Who cares if there is no advancement on a sequel, i'm fine playing the same dumbass shit as the last 3 years."

Editado por Deckard-72: 5/21/2017 6:21:22 PMI'm with you - Doesn't bother me. Yes, I'd like 60, but happy enough with 30. Getting a tonking in the Crucible all day long is not going to be any less embarrassing for me at 60fps.
-
Editado por Raider TCK: 5/21/2017 11:22:49 PMI just think it's strange. I mean I play a lot of games that are already 60fps that have been out for several months, years even. We know bungie doesn't want destiny to be competitive. It's never been geared that way. I guess this decision was another nail in the coffin for the hope of a competitive destiny experience.
-
You know what sucks? Even if Scorpio can handle 60fps, Sony would flip the f*** out if Bungie allowed it. So it'll be 30 no matter what.
-
Do you all think with PC coming out later, Bungie will allow progression to transfer over from PS or Xbox to PC?
-
Even bumping it up to 48 would have been a good compromise, but it doesn't matter if it's not in the cards.
-
I don't care, it's not a big deal imo
-
1 RespuestaI don't care as long as it still looks pretty D1 looked pretty at 30 fps.
-
I've had many complaints with this game, but 30 fps hasn't been one of them. I will go play a 60 fps game like overwatch, then go back to destiny, and it's pretty bad, but my eyes adjust to it after an hour or two and it doesn't bother me one bit.
