I'm [i]really[/i] not a fan of superhero movies, but I enjoyed it. It was certainly a lot more interesting to watch than something like The Avengers which is just a family guy chicken fight for the most part. And it was actually [i]funny[/i], like, not that really lame try hard kinda funny that might coax a chuckle out on a good day, but [i]genuinely[/i] really funny. I was laughing because I needed to, not because I felt like I was supposed to. Never thought I'd enjoy Batista's big muscle-bound ass in a movie as much as I did.

I didn't care for the story, and Starlord was a little 2D character wise this time, but man was it a fun movie. I was laughing the whole time, which is just what I wanted.

The visuals were incredible, the comedy was great (although, to me a few moments seemed a bit forced, like Nebula's "It's not ripe"), and the character development was nicely done — especially the relationships between Peter, Yondu, and Rocket. The only thing, though, is that I didn't really understand what Ego was trying to do. He was planning an "expansion", and he needed to wait until one of his offspring contained his celestial genes, but what was the point of the expansion in the first place?

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 definitely pushed the boundaries for Marvel comedy, it had great jokes, an unexpected and great plot and great fight scenes. I'm not gonna lie, the soundtrack had more potential like Vol. 1. With [i]Hooked on a feeling[/i] my personal favourite.

The movie was awesome! The end was sad though, I really liked Yondu! The 5 end scenes wete funny though, lol.
