what do you guys think about that?
-
I think it's the right choice. 3v3 is just an awkward number, all games have always been 4v4 and as such I had 3 friends who I always teamed with...come Destiny it threw a wrench in that and made it a pain. I do hope they keep some larger playlists (and doubles) for people that do enjoy that though. Always fun to have relaxing game modes

3 RespuestasIt sucks.
-
1 RespuestaI wish they would have gone to dedicated servers. Not because I want them, just so the people that are complaining about them won't have anything to complain about when they still have lag issues
-
Halo ce had big team
-
1 RespuestaIf there's less lag, I'm in.
-
3 RespuestasIt makes countdown (search and destroy) better, but control is gonna suck dong
-
3 RespuestasI'm hyped af about it. Going to fix a lot of lag issues.

Editado por mja calg: 5/19/2017 4:46:30 AMThe reason they did it is because this way people with Trash Internet can now be host, and Bungie doens't have to have Dedicated Host Servers. Basically say hello to host advantage, host lag because peoples internet sucks, lag switching, DDOS and IP Exploits just like Trials in Destiny 1. EDIT: Just to confirm my suspicion: "We do not have dedicated servers for Destiny 2 on PC. " Direct Quote from Bungie interview here: http://www.pcgamer.com/how-bungie-plans-to-make-destiny-2-on-pc-legit-on-day-one/ If they don't have them for PC's, they won't have them for Consoles. So my 276 days / 6,624 hours adventure in destiny has come to a close - no dedicated host servers and I refuse to buy Destiny 2 and play the same crap hole network system as Destiny 1.
-
They are sticking with P2P connections and the popularity of trials are the two primary reasons for this change. Sad they are STILL too cheap to put up dedicated servers to actually help make D2 truly competitive and went the simple and easier (plus CHEAPER) route without giving a single thought to what their PVP player base wants most.

2 RespuestasFor competitive awesome. Otherwise no.

1 RespuestaHopefully they are just being brief and we'll still get like 8v8 in Combined Arms or something.
-
Not too thrilled about it.. To me, it Seems like a match would take longer to finish this way.
-
First thought was, instead of making more larger pvp maps potentially big enough to even possibly expand passed 6v6 they went the exact opposite direction. For better or worse, guess we'll find out. Second thought was bold move cotton let's see how it plays out for them
-
1 RespuestaTerrible. Combined Arms is dead then.
-
Undecided until I try it out, but my initial reaction is I don't like it. I wouldn't mind 4 v 4 modes included. But for ALL modes being 4 v 4, that seems pretty limiting. Plus, a lot of the issues with balance in the Crucible had to do with map sizes and player movement. With all modes now being 4 v 4, sounds like maps will be even smaller now.
-
If 4v4 also means 8v8, then I'm in.
-
8 RespuestasTrials 4v4 will be awesome
-
1 RespuestaDoes that mean rumble will only have 4 players? If so I'm all for it
-
Great change
-
Bitch made move.
-
1 RespuestaThey should have made at least a 6v6 option. 4v4 is just so low.
-
I like it. The best matches are when it's 5v5 or less
-
1 RespuestaWell, if you hated leavers when it's 6v6, you are going to REALLY suffer when you're on the bad end of a 4v3. I'm not against 4v4's, but I don't see why this change was made. I hope there's a playlist that keeps the larger teams.
-
So stupid
-
1 RespuestaEditado por Atypical Typo: 5/18/2017 6:41:16 PMI want at least one big team battle mode with 8v8 on bigger maps.

I think 4v4 is going to be good for some stuff, but I think variation is better. 6v6 mayhem class is chaotic and fun and fast. Some matches there was actual variation. For example I faced one match were there was 3 or more enemy titans dropping bubbles. But I also felt like the game could not keep up with what was going on at time. Same reason I don't use fire fly anymore. I figured with a better game engine it could be much better than it is in D1. I wish they had a wider rotation of weekly PVP games. Cycle burns like we do for PVP. Primary only game mode, more damage while airborne, primary does more damage, etc. Every week have something different so you can search through your gear to gain an advantage or change your play style. I mostly do weekly bounties, so my primary kills might go from 12 per game to 3. So I'm going to tank my 4v4 team when I'm using a weapon that I suck at or trying new weapons.
