I feel as if that they just said "screw it! Just have it a Wormwood meta and let's just move on to Destiny 2.
Kinda of sad to see them just leave it in its worst state; they could have least buffed all primaries, reverted all the nerfs and kept pvp more interesting to feel like Bungie actually tried.
But sadly, they left pvp in the worst possible state, and I hope that Destiny 2 has a better variety of weapons to choose from.
But all I want is that Destiny pvp would have a last final update to bring every weapon to be powerful to their original state.
I'm sure there will be some salty pvpers that would disagree but I want to here from others.

They didn't fix anything for Destiny 2 either, it'll literally play exactly they same, just 4v4 ... SCORE! (leaves)

2 RespuestasHouse of wolves had the best meta, supers actually felt super.

1 RespuestaI think destiny two is their attempt to do that. Clearly they're reworking a lot of systems. New supers for subclasses, a fourth ability, different balancing on which guns you can equip. I just can't see destiny1 getting a huge rework like that so close to a sequel. Doesn't seem worth the time, and I don't think it'd feel right after having so long to get comfy with things as they are.
-
A lot of it feels like they can't/don't know how to fix it so they just stopped trying at this point. It almost seemed like the only option anymore was to just leave it like it is and attempt to start it from scratch jn the new game.

19 RespuestasIf they had fixed D1, we might not need to buy D2 right away.... per se. But they want us to really want to buy D2 right away. So they didn't fix D1. Obvious manipulation is obvious.

3 RespuestasIt's pretty damn frustrating lately and now I'm REALLY ready to move on to Destiny 2. Hmm... maybe that was their strategy all along.
-
I would have to write a novel to describe how bad it is right now. Sad, playing like 2% of the time compared to 2 weeks ago, just no desire to play it has become so bad. And that is for PVP and PVE.
-
3 RespuestasToo much weapon variety is what made PVP a absolute mess in this game, it's the worst multiplayer experience ever, shocking.

Editado por bFLY: 5/18/2017 3:45:33 PM1.) Use a primary. You guys love using the meta, well right now Imo, primaries are the meta. 2.) Pick up special ammo that spawns all the time and is almost everywhere if you can't use a primary. I'm not understanding what's so difficult about that. The lag and other issues have always been here and have nothing to do with the special changes. Imo, ohk weapons should be a luxury, not something you can run around with or camp with all match. The current changes still allow you to hoard shotguns and camp with your sniper, the only difference is you have to put in a little effort to get ammo for it. This was a good way to reign in the rampant (and boring) special weapon use, while also making primaries more viable, and not just nerfing specials into the ground. This was one of the few times where Bungie didn't just nerf things, they actually thought about it and made changes that still left the weapons usable. Sidearms aren't all that effective if you are smart and treat them like pre-nerf matador. You know that sidearm users are going to rush, they aren't all that great at anything but short range (a couple of them are barely ok at mid range) so keep your distance and land your head shots with any number of primary weapons at our disposal. I'm no pvp God, but I have no issue dealing with sidearms. They are a spray and pray weapon, nothing more. Any decent primary user can outshoot a sidearm, just land your headshots. Icebreaker is garbage for pvp, the ammo regen is so slow you will never get a full mag before you die, and you'reore likely to run past 2-3 special ammo crates long before you get a full mag. Don't even get me started on the ridiculous recoil and handling. There are far better snipers, and I honestly don't see icebreaker used all that much. It isn't a real problem Imo. The matador meta should have taught everyone how to deal with close range weapon rushers. It sure taught me.

5 RespuestasEditado por SmashvilleViking: 5/18/2017 4:30:22 AMNot everyone thinks it's in a bad state. I have seen numerous poll posts, and the "don't change" usually outweighs the "do change". The silent majority outweigh the vocal minorty. But, when someone makes a post, and says they like the way PvP is, they get torn down by the minority. Just about everyone that I have talked to enjoys PvP right now. Now, I'm going to have some people try to put me down because of my kd. That's fine. I have bigger things to worry about in my life than some fictional number in a game. If I were getting paid, then I might actually care. Edit: If Bungie did all of those things that you mentioned, PvP would be worse than you think it is now.

1 RespuestaThey made destiny 1 PVP shit so it makes destiny 2 look better so more people buy it
-
2 RespuestasTo be fair, by leaving this game in a horrible state players are more likely to get destiny 2 and migrate to it so it wouldnt surprise me if that was partially the reason
-
2 RespuestasEditado por Powermix24: 5/18/2017 3:09:31 AMkeeping sidearms and icebreaker then leaving everything else in the dust is a bad balance attempt on special weapons i'm sure everyone can agree on this (except the trolls)

Of I were to step into destiny for a first time now I would probably think it feels ok. However being here for 3 years I've seen better crucible is really -blam!-ed up right now with the latency issues playerbase and spongy weapons. I don't like sidearms or snipers I'm a fusion user and a scout user that's my choice . Unless you sit on special it's bullshit killing some dude and trading and spawning in he has ammo and you don't that's just lazy development. However bring guns to year one isn't a solution . Reverting special is , all exotics should be exotic again and depending on what your running they should feel exotic and stand out . None of this horse shit exotic isn't a worthy contender to a legendary bs .

6 RespuestasFor age of triumph they should've added legacy settings to private matches so you can play any PvP meta to actually relieve the 3 years or add that as the weekly featured crucible playlist like one week is vanilla then tdb etc
-
They don't care about their first game They will not care about pvp or pve in their second one either People somehow find this pvp state the greatest (even with almost no player base, everyone using the same meta, horrible matchmaking, slow TTK in a fasta and dynamic character movement) everything after the taken king was awful and made destiny worse every patch not a single patch made players happy... oh wait, bringing back old content made it....

2 RespuestasHow else can we enjoy the beta of Destiny 2 ? BUNGIE has to psychological trick us before playing the new Destiny 2 beta. They Got us used to nerfed weapons and abilities In D1 before even loading or looking at D2. I bet D2 shot guns will feel like good ol Felwinters lie days. Just saying.
-
Can PvE players stop making PvP posts? Just deal with it or don't play PvP until D2.
-
whats wrong with it still fun to play
-
I'm just glad COD finally went back to WW2. They don't have to do much to out do D2, let alone D1.
-
7 RespuestasAll you people saying revert all nerfs would be crying that it isn't fair or fun because you would be getting destroyed by the vex and suros
-
1 RespuestaWell Bungie's slogan is "If it ain't broke...or even if it is...".
-
7 RespuestasDon't revert all nerfs. Just revert the special ammo change.
-
Its really not that bad
-
Please do this bungie i might actually get kills with vex again
-
We still got until the release of it for a patch to come out, it's not coming out today...
