Seriously, Turn back on SRL
C'mon, the Tower's going to fall anyway, and you have the code written. Turn back on SRL, even if it's a one-weekend thing periodically like Iron Banner. I have a few characters who need their licenses upgraded still. Unfinished quests. What's the gripe, too many people might enjoy it and drain the crucible for a weekend? Oh noes.
EDIT: As numerous astute players have pointed out below, it's still available in private matches... which means the code's still downloaded on each console, and it's the world's easiest update to turn on matchmaking and re-enable the quests. What kind of bogus Age of Triumph is it, with two-tons of Halloween crap gumming up my inventory on top of the hundreds of un-discardable Dawning masks I have, and yet this not-wholly-unpopular feature remains inexplicably disabled.

It would be cool but don't make it one of the main 4pvp modes for the week. That would be crappy cuz then the other options would most likely be salvage, combined arms, and inferno rumble

I totally agree with. I didn't get my license yet and alao need to finish the book. Grimoire card also if avaliable. I tried playing private match but it didn't count for the slr quest. Please bungie bring it back.

I have to agree, its supposed to be age of triumph, an event where we celebrate all 3 years of Destiny. But sadly they dropped the ball with SRL not being included with it.
