BF1 really did things right outside of minor customizations. I loved COD up until Blops 2. Any one else feel the same ?

1 RespuestaI'm trying to stay optimistic about it. That being said my expectations are already pretty low from COD all the way back to Black Ops II, so this one needs to be pretty good for my faith to be restored in COD.
-
2 RespuestasStill waiting for a Napoleonic war game.
-
I think it's cool there is no health gen in the story mode. And there's teammates that have specific roles
-
5 RespuestasBattlefield 1 really did so many things wrong. Battlefield 1 is extremely underwhelming.
-
CoD is synonymous with autistic-screeching-kids/man-children-420-quickscope so I can't see it being different from the last 20 games in the cesspool of a franchise.
-
17 RespuestasThe new CoD trailer was underwhelming because they have no clue how to depict all-out war. When looking at Battlefield 1's trailer and CoD you notice the difference of scale and how small people were to these great hulking death machines. Also the fact that Dice continues to advance their engine unlike the CoD devs who use the same engine for years and years. Just makes the game look rubbish and aged. I mean honestly, if you gave Dice a job to do the Normandy invasion, we all know it'd be absolutely jaw dropping.
-
Bf1 should've been WW2, it's kidnof off putting how bad history is misrepresented in that game.
-
Why do people like cod? It's so meatheady
-
5 RespuestasGive me CoD: The Land before Time and I might consider liking that franchise.
-
I really dislike Call of Duty, but I would watch that trailer again if it posed up as an add. I always muted BF1's because the music was annoying.
-
It's probably going to be a solid game, they've been releasing shit for years and now they have no choice but to put out something good, even if it's fan service.

3 RespuestasMy main issue is that WWII has been done to death in the FPS genre, more specifically, Call,of Duty 1-3 were all set during WWII. I was so excited when Modern Warfare first came out ( even though I wasn't playing the COD franchise back then ) simply because it meant Activision were making an effort to bring new story telling opportunities as well as new levels and environments and modern equipment to the franchise. Yet another WWII COD feels like a serious step backwards. I get that Activision couldn't make a WWI game after EA's Battlefield 1 but why couldn't they have done a Vietnam game, or a war game set during Cold War era, or maybe a COD set during/shortly after 9/11.

Editado por Terrell: 4/27/2017 10:41:09 PMShould've made another Modern Warfare with Trump dropping moabs on caves & North Korea failing to do so

2 RespuestasWorld War was about as intense as it gets buddy. Biggest, bloodiest, brutalist war in world history and you thought it was "underwhelming"? Really bro? I bet the millions of people that died/lost someone in that war would punch you in the nose if they heard that. Like, did you even take a history class?
-
They played it a bit too safe with BF1 imo
-
6 RespuestasYeah such a boring war. All that happened was Jews got killed and then some bombs were dropped. Show a real war
-
Underwhelming? You got that all from a 2 min trailer. What were you expecting
-
The problem with Call of Duty is that its gotten too big---and the fanbase too diverse----for a single game to make every one happy. It needs to split into two---or even three---different games.

7 RespuestasI disagree on BF1 doing things right. I just want a good modern shooter. BC3, hopefully.
-
BF1 is a pretty lackluster BF game imo. Had Hardline not been out I'd consider it the worst BF game
-
3 RespuestasThats why ww3 will finish what ww2 couldn't.

1 RespuestaThe only problem I have with call of duty is the time to kill in multiplayer. It makes the game way too twitchy and the "see first kill first" Part is not great. I enjoy all the settings CoD has been through, but WW2 has been way overdone by not only CoD, but by many other devs in the early 2000s. The future stuff was a way to do new things, as we already know and have done the past way too much. Black ops and black ops 2 were better, as they dabbled in times that many shooters did not go to. It would have been great if Black ops 2 did both timelines in multiplayer like they did in the campaign. I would love for them to go back to the Cold War Era.
-
I would rather have Treyarch develop it rather than Sledgehammer.
-
Since they already did world at war, we will see what it offers....
