Against nerf herders...especially ones that are attacking our class abilities. Before long you might as well give us a rubber band shooters for everything.
If you get stuck...stick them back problem solved.
Shush now ;)
[Edit] Ok never expected this post to blow up like it did or maybe I did. It goes to show how big a rift there is between the two. Whether changes are made in D1 or not this needs to be a clear message to Bungie that all this forum chaos will carry over to D2.

I saw this a couple days ago and I thought this was a different post about something comedic and I am thoroughly disappointed.

17 RespuestasRemember when Destiny was marketed as a massive PvE focused MMO-FPS hybrid.........

68 RespuestasFor those who keep saying that Destiny is kept alive by PVP... According to Destiny Tracker for yesterday: 464, 764 unique players in Crucible. 873,819 unique players in PvE. Even during Iron Banner, I haven't seen PvP surpassed PvE, though it did get closer of course. That doesn't mean that it never has, I just haven't seen it. The claim that PvP is what is keeps the game alive is simply not born out by any numbers I've ever seen. The only time they come close is during Iron Banner, not Trials. PvP players may be the louder, but they do not represent the majority of the player base.

Yea it's pretty much a fact that pvp, more than any other group, ruined this game lol. We all played a part, but pvp tryhards played the largest part.
-
Trials Whiners have ruined useful Artifacts and Weapons this fact will always remain true.

3 RespuestasSeparation of balance changes between PVE and PVP should definitely be implemented in D2.

2 RespuestasFcking pvp players, getting my gjallarhorn nerfed. Blackspindle too. PVE players never exploit mechanics to cheese stuff. PVP is the only reason why anythings ever been nerfed.

Editado por Griff: 4/22/2017 6:29:40 PMAccording to my poll seems like most (of the 70+ poll responses) are tired of the nerf/buffs affecting PvE and want it separated from PvP.

I can't stand up right now. My back hurts cause I had to do the Dust Palace strike by myself. By that I mean people would quit early on and the one guy that was there insisted on camping with a sniper and never rez me.
-
Pvp has already ruined every aspect of destiny, games basically dead imho. I'll raid with friends once in awhile but other than that screw bungie and their broken philosophies.
-
As inspiring as caydes peach before he mentions loot

1 RespuestaI just want my shotguns back in PvE. And my Red Death/Suros Regime.

6 RespuestasI'm a PvP guy and I NEVER ask for nerfs. Call me crazy, but I LIKE powerful gear.

Interesting that the AoT content drop has nearly doubled Trials participation without as much lift in people getting to the lighthouse. Why do people think the numbers have changed so much? 1) PVE players grinding out AoT Trials bounties to complete the record book nodes? 2) People returning for AoT PVE content and finding a new love for Trials? 3) Lapsed PVP Trials players coming back even though nothing much is new for them in AoT? 4) Other theories?

5 RespuestasOnly time I ever play Crucible, is when IB is around. Other than that, I've always been a full-time PvE player.

4 RespuestasStand up against what? I haven't felt like my ability to enjoy the PvE content in the game has been at risk. Am I supposed to feel weaker or something? Did I miss something? I've been through the raids. Pre-Dark Below and during Age of Triumph. I've gone through effectively and dealt lovely damage. I might even say that I prefer the game as it exists now because I can't 'burn' through enemies and encounters as fast or easily. That's not what I wanted. If I want a PvE sci-fi fantasy space-magic game that allows you to burn through hordes of enemies like tissue paper, I play Warframe....or a heroic strike if there is a element modifier. I play Destiny because the PvE and PvP has a higher skill cap and demands more than just good weapons. That's just me though.

I stop caring about so called pve/pvp balance back in the EQ 2 days. I believe it was 2 years into the game and the developer decided to completely replace how combat worked. I went from being able to solo mobs 2 to 3 levels above me with my monk to being one shotted by a mob 1 level above me. Not to mention my druid was turned into a glorified cleric. PVP and PVE should always be separate, but anyone that has been playing video games know it never will be separate. Bungie should setup test server to actually test weapons before they are released.

2 RespuestasIs going into the tower counted as PvE ?

I haven't taken a side and I don't plan to start now. It is what it is but all that drama is not for me though... #MakeCrucibleGreatAgain #MakePvEGreatAgain

1 RespuestaNOOOOOO ED LET HER GOOOOO!!...she belongs to the walking nerf now.

I bought this game for pve... never intended on playing pvp ever. Until they made me. I would buy more pve content. I would Frisbee this game disc if it was just pvp.
-
I mainly play pve but I usually play a good ammount of pvp. I don't understand all the bitching back and fourth between pve and pvp people. I understand pvp focused nerfs can -blam!- up pve (Hammer of Sol, Snipers, Bloom) but there is a really easy fix to this. Bungie says they don't want a disconnect between pve and pvp, so all nerfs and buffs are equal, but that makes no real sense in some cases. Lets take Hammer of Sol. In order to decrease its effectiveness they decreased its damage, but why did it need a damage nerf in PvE? There is no disconnect. Who honestly would say, "How come this Hammer of Sol can one hit kill a Guardian with 200 health when it could also one hit kill a centurion with 400 health?" I understand keeping recoil, rof, etc. the same but damage is not really comparable in pve to pvp on a weapon or ability. If you give Red Death a damage buff in pvp but not pve, nobody would bat an eye. Bungie should strive to keep a disconnect as small as possible but the game should not suffer due to Bungie's need to streamline the experience.

Who cares? Destiny is shit.

I rather sit down thanks :)

2 RespuestasAs someone who does an even mix of pvp and pve, I can only think of one nerf that actually made a significant impact on pve, and that was gjallarhorn, which was only a problem in pve anyway. Weapons and class really don't matter compared to having an understanding of the game and boss mechanics. The primary difference is that a nerfed weapon in pvp means that not only does your playstyle shift, the way you react to your opponents also does. In pve, the enemies are always the same because their weapons don't change, so even when yours do, you still know how to handle them. Sorry if that made no sense I'm dumb as hell
-
PVE player and honestly there are changes that affect PVE but nothing very extreme Yes they should separate some changes but as of right now it doesn't really matter
