When sticky grenades become meta then you have seriously -blam!-ed up your sandbox.
I thought this was supposed to be a first-person shooter.

It was until people started crying about every single thing they died to.

This is the mindset divide that causes this unstable viscous forum. The hardcore competitive shooter crowd and the (typically more casual) rpg/mmo crowd or those that just like the aesthetic or "power trip" feeling of jumping around tossing nades, melees, etc. what these groups want varies greatly and these people hate the idea of what the other wants the game to be like.

If putting some real thought into your game is too much to ask, then gee whiz.

So no evades or charges then also right? No smoke or throwing knives Heck......why have invisi?

When thought out properly, all of those things (invis, smoke bombs, sticky grenades, and so on) can work well in a PvP environment. Ever play Planetside 2? You're misunderstanding me if you think abilities are the issue.

These subclasses lack the perks to close gaps or evade death like others. They are forced to win or die most times. Stickies is the balance to that for many players. When you break it down to the root you are taking away something small but important. I mean isnt that what shade step, smoke, SC, Jug, Etc. Really are? Its a way to get the advantage or avoid a disadvantage in a gunfight.
