What was your first legendary/exotic?
Hey guys as Destiny is coming to a close I'd love to hear from you all on what your first legendary and or exotic weapon was! I remember getting a doctor nope to drop from an engram back in vanilla, I was beyond excited and I still have my doctor nope to this day! My first exotic weapon was the no land beyond, I got it to drop for me in a nightfall during the Crota's end expansion! I remember watching video after video about the gun and learning where it fit into the game xD
How about you guardians? What was your first experience with high end gear? I'd love to hear from ya! :)

I don't remember what my first legendary was, probably a Crucible vendor weapon. My first exotic was Hawkmoon <3 Forever grateful for that crucible match.

Stuck the Gally immediately into the vault without ranking it up for a week or so till a friend started screaming "YOU HAVE WHAT! AND ITS JUST SITTING IN THE VAULT!" From that day forward, it never saw the vault again.

My first legendary was one of the "Devil" handcannons in Year 1 (either The Devil You Know or the Devil You Don't...I can't remember which one was first...) My first exotic was the Red Death I got from the cryptarch thanks to the once beautiful Loot Cave. Had a rare (blue) turn into that beast of a gun (back then Rahool could do that stuff...he could also turn legendary (purple) engrams into uncommon (green) weapons, so it was definitely a double edge sword). Anyway, I used Red Death after that religiously. And then people in the forums whined and cried, and PR's got the sweeping nerf which made them completely unusable right up until the second half of year 2... #RIPRedDeath

I vaguely remember it, but I think it was Suros as my first exotic and Wizard 77 as my first legendary. Suros was fun although I wasn't even that big into PVP at the time, where it was actually amazing, and I used it mostly in PVE. The Wizard is where I have my fondest memories though and I'm glad it was brought forward. Nostalgia story below [spoiler] I had gotten the Thorn quest in Y1 and was at the portion where you needed void PVP kills. This was when I was REALLY bad. A quest where every death reduces the points you have? It was torture. I had a legendary fusion called the Wizard 77, didn't really care for it because from my limited experience snipers and shotguns were way better. The people I tore through to consecrate myself as an owner of the (at the time) dreaded Thorn will always be a fond memory. [/spoiler] Tl;dr: [spoiler]I used Suros in the wrong mode and blew through people with Wizard 77, making it my fondest weapon and the reason I got Y1 Thorn while it was incredible. [/spoiler]
