Just throwing this out there; if you come into a raid, and you're an avid trials player, it's probably a good idea to not bring your sweaty, shitty attitude with you. Leave that in your 3v3 mode because no one wants to hear your bitching. Especially when you're not actually helping, and in fact are making life harder for everyone. No one gives a damn about your K/D, your ELO, or how many times you went flawless. If you're not there to help and be of any real use, stay in the Crucible section of the directorate and leave us "low light casuals" to enjoy our gaming experience.
Edit: Before anyone checks stats, the very assholes I'm posting about are the reason I don't do Raids. I play them to get the experience, but it's just not worth the salt to have to see one or two people ruin it by being a douche.
Edit 2: Honestly, I was pissed at one dude, and I shouldn't have lumped PvP guys together. But as I've had people here say, there is no reason to act like a dick to people. I've ran the raid a few times, but I don't deal with bullshit from people that are at least 15+ years younger than me. I'm sure we've all dealt with assholes, and all I wanted to do was vent as I'm sure many of you have. Those that came here to publish K/D, raid #'s, you're what's wrong with not only this community, but gaming in general. If you're just roasting, by all means do so, but when you publish someone else's stats in ridicule, you're officially a sweaty douche.

I've been flawless many times, but I totally agree there's nothing worse than some jumped up "I hardly play any PVE" little scrotum on ya raid team , I've witnessed such sweaty horrible trials talk in raids loads over the last year or so Disgusting individuals
-
Raids are better than trials I soloed Crotas End like 580 times I have 638 completions for Crotas End I have 6 completions for Kings Fall I have 2 completions for Wrath of Machine I play a lot of raids

1 RespuestaEditado por TheSilentTiger: 3/27/2017 6:10:46 PMSerious BUMP. I can't stand it when you have sweaty try hards yelling at the team telling everyone they suck and losing their cool. It's a game people, chil out. Some people need to try the raid a bunch of times in order to get a hang of it. Have patience and stay calm. Give helpful tips and make sure if you're explaining the raid to someone, do it slowly with simple steps. More details are good but can be confusing. And if you just don't have patience for random players then you just need to seriously work on your people skills and learn how to be polite to your fellow gamers. Give them a chance even if it's a squeaker kid. Better yet make friends with 5 other gamers and do the raid with them every week. That way you don't need to find randoms.

i tend to find that pve players are the ones with the bigger ego

4 RespuestasAm gonna be running raids tomorrow... If there's anyone on xbox and you're a decent player and you don't have a team drop me a message and I'll get you in my fire team and take you through

I've done about 500 raids (most being Crota helping by running sword). I'm now currently a trials only player. But I also never state anything elo or kd related when playing. I usually always play with people well below my skill level since it's more fun.
These kinds of posts are stupid.. I've met a ton of ignorant people during my raid carries or even spindle carries back in the day.. In trials I refuse to play with those kinds of people.
Also, the shitty attitude all started as no fake 29's and must have ghorn. "Trials players" didn't start that..

15 RespuestasFor all the people calling this guy out over stats stfu! I 100% agree with him and you can check my raid stats. This community used to be full of people who were helpers and yeah maybe a little bit elitist. Now this community is bitter and throws shade about anything it can. Just because you have been flawless 100 times doesn't mean you have solo'd confluxes or clutched Croata with the 10x golden gun. Never mind use a whole team to take down the oryx challenge before the light level bump. Guess what tho it's ok no one cares if you just get off the hate train and take direction for one min or give direction for one min the whole community grows their talent level. Hey just sayin! Let the hate flow I always need more haters

8 RespuestasFor me at least my raid experiences started going downhill when kings fall came out. No one had any patience to get it done or they wanted it done within 40 mins. No one really cared about the experience anymore. I get it we all have other things to do but if I were to get online to do raids I would have a couple hours of free time just in case it took longer than expected. Also three of coins ruined the raid experience. I used to do vog and crota every week hunting exotics. Now you csn just run strikes or even story missions with ultras in them to get exotics. I hope with the update tomorrow there isn't all these elists making ridiculous requirements. But I guarantee there will be a few lol

I'm a pro at thrall killing. 1v1 me bro I'll gen more orbs than you. I bet I can beat strikes faster than you. I did way more Golgaroth damage!" It's funny to see the pve disses XD

I agree with much of what you are saying. I believe I also posted a reply to a thread similar to this about "squeakers" and my opinion on them. Basically, I said if they aren't there to accomplish the Raid as a team, whine about others' mistakes (when they are the reason we have to keep wiping), and they refuse to be humble and simply admit they don't know, then they can take a hike. It is not limited to "squeakers" or "Trials Sweaties" or "Casual Know-it-alls" either. We have to realize that there is another person on the other end. There is a point where their attitudes become disruptive; that is a different problem. I have dealt with overly competitive Crucible/Trials players and they can be a lot of fun, but again if they aren't there for the team and are only there for themselves, then goodbye. (Op you also need to be careful that you don't become a jerk as well to combat the real jerks!)

1 RespuestaMy favorite thing to run in to when doing a RAID help is the guy that looks up the team on Trials report. The cockiness they have when they've been flawless and you haven't, or there is someone there that's better and they try so hard to get a suckle. These guys have little to no self esteem and find identity in arbitrary accomplishment. It could be that they've piled a set of rocks taller than you and it's all they have, so they make it their identity. In any circumstance where I run in to this, I simply let them know that they're insecurities make for boring conversation; their trivial accomplishment in a video game doesn't give them authority to treat people like sh*t and then I leave.

Chill me friend

3 RespuestasAren't you pretty much doing exactly what you said not to do?? Kinda hypocritical
-
Lol true I've had it before in nightfall too where the guy is telling me stuff like yeah I barely do any PVE I've got 2k ELO in trials I'm probably going to be doing some carries in a bit and then trying to tell everyone how to do things like PVE is beneath them LOL no one is impressed bud but I just let them get on with it, if it makes them feel good.
-
1 RespuestaMan I knew a dude who had a .70 KD but can wreck pve.
-
You must be the guy that acts cool and says little during the raid. You're the one given a simple task and when you mess up you say nothing. How many times have you left a raid because you screwed up of didn't want to communicate? If you're so worried about your feelings be hurt in a raid by a PvP scrub then don't use LFG on Bungie.net I'm sure there are plenty of players that don't want you on their team neither.
-
What? I constantly do raids and Im an avid trials player and heck, I dont even have an attitude, I dont even bitch in raids. Im that quiet guy in raids that only talks when he needs to or wants to crack a joke. I dont even bring trials into a conversation, its always the randoms we find that see me wearing my ornaments that say, "Oh hey Golden, I see you are a trials player...can you carry me? Lol just kidding."
-
When I run a raid I always try to be patient with everyone. But if you cause us to wipe, or are constantly dead, and spent the entire time telling us how good your elo is and how many times you've been flawless, you're getting booted. I've kicked a lot of little trials bitch boys to orbit for having this elitist attitude during raids. And the worst part is that they constantly blame everyone else for their short comings. Its always " I died because person A didnt kill that dreg".

Editado por murderAIR: 3/27/2017 5:07:25 PMOmg trials players on lfg are terrible at raids. Now I'm sure some aren't but the ones that join with there shit load outs and kitty emblems usually have loser attitudes and suck at raiding. I don't trials or even ask to. But I got no problem telling trials guys to stick to there precious game mode
-
I just play. I enjoy. Thats it.

1 RespuestaOk well I'm a trials player and also a raids player and also I'm very chill. I guess I'm a hybrid.
