Just throwing this out there; if you come into a raid, and you're an avid trials player, it's probably a good idea to not bring your sweaty, shitty attitude with you. Leave that in your 3v3 mode because no one wants to hear your bitching. Especially when you're not actually helping, and in fact are making life harder for everyone. No one gives a damn about your K/D, your ELO, or how many times you went flawless. If you're not there to help and be of any real use, stay in the Crucible section of the directorate and leave us "low light casuals" to enjoy our gaming experience.
Edit: Before anyone checks stats, the very assholes I'm posting about are the reason I don't do Raids. I play them to get the experience, but it's just not worth the salt to have to see one or two people ruin it by being a douche.
Edit 2: Honestly, I was pissed at one dude, and I shouldn't have lumped PvP guys together. But as I've had people here say, there is no reason to act like a dick to people. I've ran the raid a few times, but I don't deal with bullshit from people that are at least 15+ years younger than me. I'm sure we've all dealt with assholes, and all I wanted to do was vent as I'm sure many of you have. Those that came here to publish K/D, raid #'s, you're what's wrong with not only this community, but gaming in general. If you're just roasting, by all means do so, but when you publish someone else's stats in ridicule, you're officially a sweaty douche.

So go play Mass Effect... No pvp at all!
-
These people have no friends. So they decide to be rude and competitive with strangers online. I can't believe the way ppl speak to eachother on here. And they don't even know eachother. This is why I'm glad there were no forums or blogs when I was 18 and younger. This would be a messed up world if I got to publicly post my opinions when I was young. It is a messed up world now. How many murders would happen on a daily basis if ppl spoke to others like this in real life. Because I probably would have about 50 murders of young children under my belt

5 Respuestaslmao i love coming into a raid to hear the self important raid leader saying how good he is then be the first one to make excuses as soon as he dies first.
-
I like the majority of the community. Nothing wrong with trials players, if they want to talk about stats/kd and Elo. So be it. I won't complain about someone who has worked hard to achieve good/great stats for something they have worked hard for over time. Just like the raid people. It's a grind either way. The main thing is regardless of the attitude, The majority of pvp and pve players help a lot of people who have difficulties completing the respected activities. I agree with attitudes, but pve players can just be as bad or worse. My point is simple. You can not call out Pvp players without calling out pve players also.

14 RespuestasPlease do not call all trials players "sweaty douche bags" I Sherpa people to the lighthouse for fun. I brag about stats and what not, but I only do that to self promote. Don't group the Sherpas with the egotistical stat farmers.

Been saying the same shot you just said for the three years destiny has been alive an as soon as I post one word here come the wannabe trolls. I just got done killing one who opened his mouth on something that he had no buessines running his mouth about. He was trying to put me down cause of my stats an it didn't work. Everyone who goes around my k/d is this my elo is that well your not a true gamer. If you boast about all the raids you have been in to how many times you went flawless then don't help an cause problems your not a true gamer. So to all who think there good because your stats say so do is all a favor an piss off already.
-
How many times do you need to experience the same experience to feel like you've had a rewarding experience?
-
I feel your pain. I too have had to suffer through a raid with a player decked out in Trials armor who couldn't get the most basic aspects of PvE teamwork down. Many people turn to competitive gaming because they aren't good at playing cooperatively. Especially in larger groups. Many people turn to competitive gaming because they don't "play well with others". But this is not true of everyone who plays PvP.

13 RespuestasYou want to know what is worse? That one guy who thinks he knows everything and talks shit about other types of players..... That one guy who keeps causing team wipes because of his inexperience..... That one guy who makes a shitpost because he is an old man and gets schooled by teenagers.... Oh wait.....
-
Lots of people play this game, just find another team or post and get your own team...
-
12 RespuestasI'm genuinely chill, but I can be a PvE elitist type that likes to question your setup. Sorry, if you're going to run a shitty setup I'm going to call you out.

5 RespuestasFlawless emblem required for my Raid Team. Also, you must have a box of raisins.
-
I wonder if one type of player ventures into the others domaine, which one would have the higher success rate?..... This topic is laughable.

1 RespuestaMy manties bring all the boys to the yard!

2 RespuestasYou know why I always asked for weekly flawless players for raid challenges? Because I know they will avoid getting shot for no reason and not spend a hundred years on one raid.
-
Saw one in full trials gear using a sidearm in WotM. Effin dildo.
-
it's cool if you're just like, "lol I've went flawless a couple times" and mention it casually. If you don't: BEWARE THE KICK!
-
2 RespuestasWhenever I join raids I'm always wearing Full trials gear and flawless/scarab emblem. I'm even tier 12 with trials gear! I'm shy so I don't talk unless needed. They usually ask me to carry them, but I can barley carry my own fatass their lol
-
9 RespuestasThe only thing I find annoying about pvp players are that raid teams welcome you with open hands but trials require from your godamn soul to play with them... I also do a lot of pvp and been flawless few times in y3 but I dont even go to lfg when my friends are not on for trials because I know how toxic it is
-
I can agree with parts of this. Like the "shitty attitude" part. It's a raid. It's hard. Mistakes happen. Sure if someone is dragging a raid group down that's a problem. But don't snap after the first few attempts at a part that calls for tricky finesse. Bad raid players will only get better with help. So get your your head out of your ass and help them out.
-
31 RespuestasLol this post is irrelevant where do you think the try hard attitude originated from... RAIDS... raids came before trails.. stupid "requirements" like having the gally or how many raid completions you had dictated if many would raid early on in the game long before elo and K/D requirements so please. Dont blame any attitudes that get your manties in a bunch on trials players. I quit raiding a long time ago due to the nerd ragers in the raid community who honestly are alot worse then any "sweatastic" pvp try hard.
-
I've had a similar experience with guys 15+ years older than me it was back during year 1 moments but I've had mostly good experience with raids it's just the odd few that are like yours
-
Well said

3 RespuestasTrials players don't raid
-
26 RespuestasI know a guy who posts on Lfg every reset and accepts you based on your Pvp stats. For a raid.
-
I play tons of trials and I don't even mention it when I'm raiding unless someone starts a conversation about Trials. :/
This hurt my feelings...
