15 RespuestasA question: With 60fps now being a feature (maybe) do you think that either... A) the graphics have been improved somewhat (even though destiny 1 graphics are spectacular imo) compared to current graphical settings? B) the graphics are pretty much the same, but experience with the engine and hardware allow for better memory/power management? Just curious myself. Tbh I always thought destiny 1 was capable of 60fps but was scaled back due to legacy consoles being a primary template base (hence inferior engines were used). With legacy consoles no longer being needed a game dedicated solely to current gen can capture some of the elements that were missing/scaled back from destiny 1. [spoiler]no insults to legacy consoles on my end however. I personally got destiny launch day for my 360, and even on a then 8 year old machine the game visuals were/still are spectacular[/spoiler]

8 RespuestasIn destiny 2 we'll be playing as our guardian's children. It will be set 100 years after the taken war and the red plague. As technology has continued to advance (out of necessity and prosperity brought by our apparent victory over the darkness) our equipment from D1 will be out classed by even the most basic weapons. As time has gone by we have recaptured much of Earth and our other settlements throughout the solar system and began to get used to our more quiet life. Our light is fading because of our age and not having any worthy challengers. As the game opens the Eco stranger will arrive with her group without warning, from the future. They will be pursued by a renewed darkness while we are out under siege by the cabal empire. As our guardians from D1 die in an effort to secure the future of our children who, along with the traveler, flee to a new solar system full of new and terrifying challenges.

No helmets, all human, basic looking weaponry, rustic background.... maybe they're telling the story of saint-14 defeating Solkis and searching for Osiris in the aftermath. We've already seen the walls fall. It would be nice to see them constructed.
