This probably doesn't matter to anyone but me.
I've been playing destiny since year 1. Never really enjoyed the crucible as I got to the party late (more of an PvE kinda guy) I barely got year 1 thorn right before he became useless.
Anyway I finally got a first character (Hunter) to 1.0 k/d. The other two are still sub 1.0 but f@ck, that makes me happy.
Excited to play out he last few months before we are all off to D2.
Edit: honest "thank you" to all the positive comments and different perspectives on stats.
To the haters, if you live with your mom your comment is invalid. To the others, go f&ck yourself;-)

218 RespuestasPvP is still a shithole, i'm personally waiting for D2 to have no PvP whatsoever.

2 RespuestasCongrats, hitting above the 50th percentile in a game where pretty much everyone left is an experienced player is pretty good. Don't let the pasty trolls who need to put you down about a number to feel better about their sad lives get to you. I know it's hard to believe to us Destiny fanatics, but only 1 in 7,500 people actually play Destiny (1 million on a good day according to destinytracker.com). The other 7,499 are more worried about when they have to poop. Just saying, maybe people need to look at the big picture before they belittle people over something that doesn't even matter.

2 Respuestas1.15 My goal is a 1.2-1.25 by the end of Destiny

Honestly dont check my kd but im sure its garbo. Congrats to you though for surviving the onslaught of lag and whatever the hell the meta is nowadays.

1 RespuestaThe more you play, the less able your k/d can fluctuate. In other words, the more your k/d goes up, the more you'll have to play to raise it further. So in reality if you've raised it to 1.0 from whatever, and it's seemed like an eternity to do so, that 1.0 k/d is probably not indicative of your actual skill/improvement. Go on destiny tracker and look at your monthly rolling k/d. That will be more reliable. Congrats on the 1.0 😀

No one wants to be cannon fodder.

1 Respuesta1.2 I usually play hide and seek, makes the opposing team hate me.
-
Congrats! That's an achievement in my book. I just got my main character's K/D up above 1.0 not long ago, from having a 0.85 K/D for the longest time. The latest balance patch gave me the boost I needed to get over the top.
-
Congrats man!! I felt the same way!! It is a big deal. I have had a rough few days in the Crucible. It's been tougher than usual for me. Keep up the good work!!
-
Congrats. My KD is/was crap too, but unlike some I won't blame this and that... I was trash. Outright, but in my defense this was my first shooter ever. I assume you already know how long it will take to get your KD to rise above 1. To 1.1... I'm still trying lol but I have so many hours played it would probably take me a whole year to make up for all those bad games.

Great job

Congrats bro! I'm working on it.

Nice dude keep it up

1 RespuestaEditado por K1LRR: 3/22/2017 2:44:23 PMGreat job man, at least you're improving. But careful... once you're k/d get up around 2 or 3, the matching making system is going to start to think you can carry a full team of blueberries all going ~ 0.42 and leaving you the only one going positive. Just to give you a heads up.
-
Congrats! I remember when I first got my overall KD over 1.0. I was ecstatic because my KD was so horrible from when I first started playing Destiny and was still learning how to PVP effectively. I think it was as low as .33 or more LOL
-
Since destiny was my first big shotter I was happy when I first got a 1.0
-
Strange ... I've been purposefully dropping my k/d for awhile now ...
-
Good job. I can relate.

Editado por Thane: 3/22/2017 2:57:58 PMGood for you, but KD means nothing really so there's no need to obsess over it. Find your favorite load out, enjoy your time/practice (control your range accordingly) and you will do even better.
-
1.1, pretty ok with it, too :)
-
Editado por Jared: 3/22/2017 3:25:45 PMi have like a 1.1 kd because ive always had a bad connection( and ive always been a pve guy). recently i upgraded my internet provider and my recent k/d has went through the roof
-
Congrats man. It's not an easy time to get positive. With the falling playerbase, all I seem to get matched against are fireteam-tryhards. Good going
-
Good for you it's not easy in the crucible these days with the sidearm spamming. It's nice to see people achieving a goal and still enjoying the game that no matter what people say is still played more than most
-
Editado por Dano2point0: 3/22/2017 3:02:21 PMWell done. It's not an easy thing digging yourself out of the kd hole without starting a new account. I was eating humble pie all the time when I first started playing Crucible.

13 RespuestasI was trying to hit 2.0 but SBMM took care of that in a hurry. But you can thank SBMM because when you're bad at the game, it actually brings your kd up. When you're only matched against bad players, you have a much better chance of doing well than if you're only matched against the average player. I can't even play the crucible anymore because Bungie hates skilled solo players who don't play the meta.

Good for you m8. I've stopped playing pvp because I've reached my breaking point. You continue having fun. I'm a pve guy myself as well.
