Anyone notice Sony fans over hype every new release they get?
Every time lol
I feel like bloodborne only got praised so much because it was an exclusive. I played it and thought it was good, but dark souls 3 feels so much better in almost every way...
(More armor, weapons, better pvp )
Now horizon.... i bought it and its good but not like everyone hyped it up to be... why do you guys do this?
Inb4 sony fanboys say i dont have a ps4 just because i didnt link it on here

They're the same game in essence, you can play Dark Souls 3 and then Bloodborne and it would feel the exact same. You can't feel weapons, that makes no sense. However I do have an issue with listing the later game as proof to the inferiority of the previous one. Saying Bloodborne is not all that good because of the existence of Dark Souls 3 is like Saying Demon's Souls isn't worthy of note because Dark Souls is bigger, more polished and has more items. A stronger argument would be if you thought Dark Souls 2 was better than Bloodborne since it was released earlier yet has more weapons, armor etc.

I mean most people think those games are as good as people hyped them up to be. So it makes sense.

I don't know about the others, but bloodborne got praised so much because it's a beautiful, haunting, intense game, dripping in atmosphere, and all wrapped up with fantastic, quick gameplay and the souls difficulty we know and love.

In DaS you have several weapons with really similar movesets. This, in my mind, puts Bloodborne above DaS in terms of weapons. Quality>quantity PvP is better in DaS, though, and the wider variety of armor is nice. I do like trenchcoats however.. What really puts Bloodborne above DaS (in my mind) though is its [i]amazing[/i] atmosphere! Yharnam is one of the best--if not [i]the best[/i]--game worlds I know of! Hype is excitement for something. If you say someone is overhyped for something you're saying they are too exited for that thing. You are not only telling them how they should feel but also telling them that they can feel too much, somehow. The other side of hype is from a company point of view. In this case they wish to generate excitement for thier product. If you say they are overhyping thier product you are saying they are trying to generate too much excitement for thier product. If the goal is to get the word out and generate as much talk as possible which hopefully translates into higher sales then how can it be over done? Now companies often outright lie or use half truths to purposely mislead customers when generating hype. This is horrible but it needs to be identified for what it is and it needs be addressed directly. Good day and Happy gaming.

Eh Horizon didn't play and Bloodborne was a fantastic game and the only reason why DS3 was so good was because Miyazaki took inspiration from all of the souls games including bloodborne (except for 2 we don't talk about that lol). Seriously though I do value your opinion but I feel like it did great the only unfortunate part was/is that they favor Sony due to certain circumstances, only reason why I'm saving my PS4 but also Xbone we also lost our lineup with Scalebound this year not looking too good so far but my hopes are up!

2 RespuestasI know what you mean. Their hype is the reason I bought a ps4. And now that I've played HZD it makes me realize how lucky I've had it on Xbox for 16 years. PS4 exclusives just seem to have EXTREMELY shallow gameplay.

I bought my PS4 about 6 weeks ago so I hadn't been watching HZD at all. Zero hype. I thought it was a pretty solid game. Had I been hyped for this game like I was for Destiny I probably would have been disappointed.

Lol what? Bloodborne is better than Dark Souls 3 completely besides PvP. Then again Dark Souls PvP hasn't ever beent that good.

I just finished the main story on HZD not 5 minutes ago. The hype is real. It's amazing. 10/10 for me.
