First I will start with the money portion. you have spent between $170 to $300 on destiny the video game (game, expansions) and spent 3,850+ hours presumably enjoying it. The cost of that enjoyment is roughly between $0.04 and $0.08 an hour. Where else can you spend that little per hour for enjoyment? Also if you spent that many hours doing something and did not enjoy it, felt lied to or were unhappy doing it than that is a personal issue you need to fix. Try finding something else to do. As for "All that we worked so hard for is Zilch, Notta, Zip" part. Isn't the enjoyment you had playing, the excitement of finally getting that legendary or exotic you wanted, beating tough challenges and meeting cool new people, etc. worth something? I may be wrong but i don't remember where we were ever told that our gear from D1 would carry on. Again I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure that was speculation/possibility and never confirmed. If you didn't enjoy everything listed above then why spend that money and time playing? Also won't D2 be fun because of all the above too? Yes they may have under delivered, or didn't release the full original game. Bungie has done things with D1 that i didn't like or agree with. But guess what? On this account and my old one i have spent many hours having fun. I will buy D2 because i am pretty sure i will spend many hours there having fun as well. That is what video games are about. Right? If you aren't having fun with a game then yes don't buy/play it.
