No sequel will have your stuff carry over. Far Cry made many games - and each game you started all over. Half Life 2 came out and you didn't get all your stuff you had. You've played more Destiny than any other game by far. People put in literally weeks of time into one game... Per hour it has cost less than buying any other game. It's been fun, and annoying at times. I am going to play VOG and CE right up until and perhaps beyond D2. If D2 has a good story i'll get it. That's the deciding factor for me personally. Don't care at all about my old guns because there will be new guns. Cannot level up if you already have the best stuff.

Editado por mikemacon: 3/13/2017 6:00:10 PMDestiny is not Half Life or Far Cry or COD. Well...it wasn't supposed to be, anyway. Now it is I guess. Just another FPS. The reason some of us are salty is that from the beginning it was supposed to be/promised to be something else. Something more. We weren't sold on just another FPS, albeit with arguably better mechanics and space magic.
Destiny’s worlds are forever changing, making the game feel different every time you turn it one. Think of Destiny more like a platform than a game, because that’s actually a more accurate description. With this ever evolving world, players have an endless amount of opportunities waiting for them. Landscapes will shift and alter, dynamic events and missions will be created randomly and Bungie will continually add more and more to this living world throughout the next ten years, or maybe even more. What Bungie are trying to achieve here is rather monumental, creating not a singular experience on a disc but rather one that players could possibly play for the next decade, again like an MMO.
(emphasis mine)
