How many "guardians" are REALLY gonna Buy D2 ?
They promised a Game unlike any others... They Promised if We spent our time and $$ they would continue a platform that was applicable for 15 - 20 years ( ok Ten +... My Bad ) for growing & keeping all that we Accomplished ~
Am I the only one who see's they totally Lied Over all???
First, Bungie bragged up the game for years / decades ~ then don't deliver the mature version that was promoted, but instead ask activision to come and totally mess the whole thing up ~
They gave us DLC 's such as House of Wolves, then made it useless and obsolete ~
And NOW they tells us, All the time & $$$ some of us have put into this game supporting it & them ( game creators) No longer counts as well ~ All that we worked so hard for is Zilch, Notta, Zip ~ Nothing, but expect us to be happy that we have " stuff to do" till Sept. So we can start the process over ... Again!!??
I have been on this game, since day one, standing in a line with a back brace on just fresh from spinal surgery, to buy My limited Destiny Collection with the hard cover book, every DLC they dropped & was planning on D2 as it was added to this "foundation" we supposedly started with.
Buy, buy buy the New Destiny 2 is what they are pushing~ Sorry, Nope, Not gonna do it ~ I will no longer support Liars & Greedy people who just see MY $$$ signs... and have NO Loyalty to the people who made them ~ They just lost a Very Loyal Customer !!!

1 RespuestaFirst I will start with the money portion. you have spent between $170 to $300 on destiny the video game (game, expansions) and spent 3,850+ hours presumably enjoying it. The cost of that enjoyment is roughly between $0.04 and $0.08 an hour. Where else can you spend that little per hour for enjoyment? Also if you spent that many hours doing something and did not enjoy it, felt lied to or were unhappy doing it than that is a personal issue you need to fix. Try finding something else to do. As for "All that we worked so hard for is Zilch, Notta, Zip" part. Isn't the enjoyment you had playing, the excitement of finally getting that legendary or exotic you wanted, beating tough challenges and meeting cool new people, etc. worth something? I may be wrong but i don't remember where we were ever told that our gear from D1 would carry on. Again I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure that was speculation/possibility and never confirmed. If you didn't enjoy everything listed above then why spend that money and time playing? Also won't D2 be fun because of all the above too? Yes they may have under delivered, or didn't release the full original game. Bungie has done things with D1 that i didn't like or agree with. But guess what? On this account and my old one i have spent many hours having fun. I will buy D2 because i am pretty sure i will spend many hours there having fun as well. That is what video games are about. Right? If you aren't having fun with a game then yes don't buy/play it.

Nor will I buy it day 1, when review embargoes will keep the players from knowing what they are buying. Week 2, after glowing reviews(?), I'll look into picking it up. As for you lengthy rant, you need to grow up. If you don't like the game or aren't happy with the direction bungie is taking with it, JUST FUÇKING QUIT ALREADY. spare us the ignorant manifestos of the perpetually butthurt

I think I am personally gonna wait on Destiny 2. As it stands there is already going to be a significant drop in sells just from people catching wise about Destiny 1, not to mention the number of times others have been driven off by Bungie's BS, and I am not just talking about the lies/half-truths/vague statements either. Every time something has come up and they couldn't/wouldn't do something about it, they would either push blame on to someone/something instead of just fessing up and saying "Hey guys, we really want to give you this, we just can't right now." Before it was all last gen's fault, but now it's because they are just working with an old engine and things just aren't possible...so which was it really? Overall, it just makes me feel like Destiny 2 is going to be a big disappointment and they are just going to find something/someone else to blame it on.

14 RespuestasLook at how many hours you've put in, if you've not had fun in that time worth what you've paid for the game, you feel like it's time wasted but logging in wanting to play means I spent time having fun, sometimes frustrating when developer choices affect the way I play sure. If your still logging in, then you must like something about Destiny. As for the push push push to buy Destiny2? By who? Theirs no trailer, theirs no footage, no details, no preorder, only a rough date to when it should launch. What pressure are you talking about? It's not from Bungie, so chill out

They did a bait-and-switch on us and because there is no regulation in the gaming world yet, we get THIS. And leave it to Bungie to be the first example of what NOT to do to your game, fans, and loyal customers!

I hate first person shooters. Absolutely hate them, and I have put more time into Destiny than any other game I have ever played ever. That says something about this game, and I will be picking up d2 without a doubt. I've made some great friends along the way, and I'm looking forward to continuing this journey with them.

I'll buy it. Same reason as I buy any sequel to a game I enjoyed. The most recent being Titanfall 2. I had a Gen 10 pilot in Titanfall 1. I wasn't expecting to still have the Gen 10 pilot in Titanfall 2. I know, the developer for Titanfall 2 never said they had a 10 year plan or anything. The point is, it's a new game, with new gear. You don't keep your old gear for a new title in any other game that's out there.

And let's be honest here, we have seen the absolute limits of what Bungie's capable off. I mean TTK level is considered the peak around here, but is generally mediocre at best. Also consider the unholy amount of -blam!- ups/lies along the way and yeah D2 isn't looking too good. The funniest part about all of this is how no one's nervous about the second reboot (opposite of a game doing well). The one in development to win over/back players. Keep in mind "good" won't cut it. To change the silly Destiny image/rep, the sequel has to be ground breaking. No pressure Bungo ...... D2 will be judged purely for its quality. As it should be.

1 RespuestaNo sequel will have your stuff carry over. Far Cry made many games - and each game you started all over. Half Life 2 came out and you didn't get all your stuff you had. You've played more Destiny than any other game by far. People put in literally weeks of time into one game... Per hour it has cost less than buying any other game. It's been fun, and annoying at times. I am going to play VOG and CE right up until and perhaps beyond D2. If D2 has a good story i'll get it. That's the deciding factor for me personally. Don't care at all about my old guns because there will be new guns. Cannot level up if you already have the best stuff.

Buying it. Are you kidding. Nothing compares. This game has saved me money. I no longer go out and buy game after game every time i finish one. I spend money once a year. Sept 9, 2014 $69.99 can, Sept 15, 2015 $39.99 can, Sept 20, 2016 $29.99 can. Did not purchase expansions during year one. I am a casual gamer as i have lots of adult things to do but when i get the time, its Destiny baby.

I will be buying D2, along with other games. I'm just hoping that there will be a D2 Alpha/Beta. However, that may not happen, you know, because this has been one huge beta.
