If the Next Patch Only Nerfs Sidearm Ammo..
That would be ridiculous.
Having no special on death/respawn destroys this game for me.
Spare me the "use your primary" speech. I'll use my primary when it's viable. I don't want to keep pot shotting people with primaries, using Icebreaker, using wormwood...no. I want to kill people with any gun in the game that I choose to use.
I used to do pve activities to get guns to use in pvp. They were mostly special, with the occasional good primary. Now I have little reason to replay the same content for a reward I'll never be able to use in crucible.
I'm not going to spawn in and camp a special box, hope that my teammates haven't already pulled it, go running around for special when there's an enemy who just pulled shotgun ammo or has a wormwood...no. ESPECIALLY not on these maps. And I'm certainly not going to use anything other than an Icebreaker in trials, because everyone else will be using one and I'm at a disadvantage with no special on spawn...
If this next patch only changed Sidearm ammo...I'm done with pvp in Destiny as we know it. Spare me the "good get off the forums" speech. I've heard it all and I don't care.
Oh yeah, and fix blink radar ffs. Wtf is this anyway.

2 RespuestasI hear you. When I started in year one and I got destroyed by a gun. I went and looked what the person was using and if I thought it worked for that person, I went out trying to get it. Thats what this game is about. The guns are the toys. PVP for me is showing off what you got and what you learned. Now its being catered to crybabies who can't learn to adapt. If you get to close to someone, you got shotgunned. I learned from that and started using one myself. If you stand out in the open to long in one spot, you get sniped. Thats not Bungie's fault, thats you being stupid. If someone is playing better then you, learn from what they did to you and then go do it to the other person. If you cry about a certain gun being OPed in the game on the forums then guess what? More people are going to use that gun guniesis. One gun is always going to outshine another. Exotics are suppose to be powerful. You want them. You grind for them. If others have it and you don't, don't cry about it being oped. GO GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

8 RespuestasSo...you want constant ammo for powerful one hit kill weapons that never should have had the ammo reserves they did in the first place for PVP... this seems like a complaint from a player who crutched special so hard he's lost now.

I want sidearms to be nerfed. I want specials to be taken out of the game. They are badly balanced and always cause problems as well as taking no skill. Yes snipers take almost not skill. If you think you're cool cuz you snipe,stop playing the game and change yourself it's not that hard.

Part of me wishes no one complained ever since vanilla launched. That way the game would have gone to shit much earlier (early/forced/drastic change). Begging clueless devs to run their game properly is a waste of time. They DO NOT have it in them. How many -blam!- ups do you need to accept this ?? The Destiny experience : Bungie tells you what to play, when to play it, how many times you're allowed to play it, how you should play it and upgrade or you lose your shit. Sigh ..... then sit and wonder why players are pissed.

I benefit from the update because of primaries being more important than ever. Lots of good players are the same. Yet many absolutely hate and straight up stopped playing (for a while lulz) because of the special eco. It's just unnecessary pit stops. Primaries should've been made relevant with specials, not specials irrelevant and primaries relevant by default. I'm not trying to exaggerate the usage of special but I'm also not stretching it too far. Nothing but sidearms, nlb, and IB, I wonder why?

Everyone is saying 'Adapt'. How predictable. I dislike the way they handled special. It magnifies latency issues, as getting to cover only to be killed anyways now submits all ammo. I've had to adapt to hiding like a puss if I have sniper ammo and that's NO FUN.

Yep, this patch was -blam!-ing ridiculous. Can't even use Chaperone anymore. Everything but the special ammo -blam!-ery was great though.

1 RespuestaI don't even notice my special is gone, I use my secondary off spawn then when I use it I switch to primary, by the time I die special is up. I know many people who agree that the special nerf didn't effect them.

What people like you don't understand is that there's no need to rant over a game or other player's opinions whether they're bad or not. This is a video game ok? If you like it, play it. If you don't, do not play the game. Simply as that. Bungie is not perfect and they've tried to give the players different "metas" to satisfy some. The truth is that they'll never satisfy everyone at the same time and they know it. Get over it...what ever bungie does, get over it. Either adapt or don't play. No need to rant over something that is not real life. Have a good night.
