Was better than I expected, surprisingly. Even filled in a few lore gaps from what I remembered of the original warcraft game.
Now, when are we going to get an awesome elder scrolls movie?

Yes to all

1 RespuestaHa! Most I've seen of either is the South Park episode and of course...
leroy Jenkins!!
1 RespuestaThe effects were done well enough. Fights were pretty good. Music, tone, sound were all good..... It's just none of the actors seemed to fit their role. They all came off as Cosplayers.

1 RespuestaI liked it bought it on Vudu. My two complaints were the actor they chose for the young wizard just didn't roll over with me quite right. The spells were cool and fights with him great but he looked a little too soft for me. Lothar I would have liked more and better dialogue with. Other than that I thought the orcs stole the show in presentation and acting.
-
I liked it, but poor acting and props that looked plastic really let it down. It reminded me of a pantomime. If they make a sequel they should get a new director
-
I thought it was pretty good. The cgi was really impressive, too
-
It was pretty bad but watchable.

1 RespuestaHonestly disnt see what was bad about it at all, and nobody can really seem to give an explanation as to why it was bad. I give it an easy 7.5/10 for what it was nothing amazing, disnr particularly stand out, but was decently enjoyable overall.

Editado por Seraph: 2/20/2017 7:35:54 PMI'd never ever played a Warcraft game before so I went in with no expectations. Actually that's not 100% true, I'd seen a lot of the early reviews and the general consensus was that the movie was awful so my expectations were very low. And you know what, I enjoyed myself. It's by no means a great movie but it's not bad either. The plot was very easy to follow ( even though I could not remember the names of any of the main characters). I think there was a lot of hype and expectations for the film to live up to with the huge player base of the game franchise, Duncan Jones' reputation and the huge budget. I also think the exaggerated art style of the original WOW character designs did not translate well to CGI, the Orcs looked awkward whenever they had to share the screen with a human character. The incredibly shiny and bulky armour that the humans wore never looked practical for fighting. Paula Patton's character ( the Orc halfbreed ) was a huge distraction for me, I couldn't stop looking at her teeth/tusks, every time she was on the screen I kept thinking about how painful and inconvenient her makeup/costume must be and how much the teeth/tusks probably hurt her performance since she could barely talk with the mouth piece on.

2 RespuestasExcept half of the movie is wrong from a lore standpoint.
-
1 RespuestaStarted playing Warcraft with Orc vs Humans all those years ago and still play some WC3 and WoW today (12 years playing WoW) I'm a huge lore nut and liked the movie for what it was Hopefully they will make more but instead focus on Malfurion and Illidan...The Dragon Soul series were great books
-
4 RespuestasNo, we need an Overwatch movie. Those shorts are Pixar level stuff.
-
I haven't played WoW but I thought the movie was ok I know a little bit about the lore though as I have a friend who loves the game
-
I would love a Dragonborn movie.
-
That movie was trash.
-
Yea I knew nothing about the lore and games and I enjoyed the movie
-
Never watched it but I know it has Travis Fimmel in it, aka the dude that played on Vikings as Ragnar Lothbrok. Amazing actor that guy is
-
As a avid Warcraft fan I loved it.
-
1 RespuestaIt's good if u know the warcraft world otherwise you will be lost.
-
3 Respuestasassassin's creed is better
-
5 RespuestasThere's a lot of amazing elder scrolls fan movies if you look hard enough.
-
2 RespuestasWasn't great, but I've seen worse.
-
About halfway through the movie I realized it was only made to hype the new expansion of WoW. After that I lost interest, even with Ben Foster being in it...
-
I liked it. Was fun to see it on the big screen. It did have lore issues that annoyed me as well though. I'm a huge WOW fan so most anything would have been good to me. I'll admit it. Was worth my time.

It was ok just at times all over the place and a few actions seemed pointless.
