What's with the Sun breaker melee?
Is it bugged? There have been several instances where it does roughly half the melee damage then starts burning or it only does 13 damage and no burn. That and thermal vent doesn't seem to prock anymore and simply pushes people back several feet.

I want to know how I got one punched by sunstrike, yet when I do it, it barely gets down half of their health.

3 RespuestasThe only reason I never run sun breaker is the melee does half the damage of the other two sub classes, I rely heavily on melee damage in the crucible.

Most useful aspect of the Sunbreaker melee is getting 30 solar kills quick. Use your primary to shoot an enemy near the point of death, then finish him with a punch. As long as he dies instantly, your melee regenerates. I like Sunbreaker in Crucible because you get sticky grenades and a Super. The melee, compared to Defender's overshield and Striker's 1HK shoulder charge, is a big yawn.

3 RespuestasNever noticed the damage problem but i have been sent flying anywhere from 5-40 feet away and sometimes sent flying off the map or into a wall and insta died..

All melee charges do this, from every subclass. It's a latency issue between client and server. Nothing much we can do as players except make sure our own connections are good (hard wired).

Bladedancer Backstab melee does this as well. A clean Backstab behind the opponent while invisible will push the opponent back and only damage their shield. Ever since they reduced the hit box it's been way off.

More often than not I have gotten a bugged sunbreaker melee. For me, most of the time it will do no melee damage and only burn damage. The most we can do is hope bungee fixes it

This and the Bladedancer melee will bug out and not register correctly sometimes. All you can do is hope they fix it

That has been a problem on sunsinger too. Not sure how long though, but you hit them and they either don't burn at all or they only burn.

Just completely avoid cqc. They obviously want to increase the incentive to use high impact shotguns since you cant melee with two classes

Or you hit but it doesn't do the burn? Oooooo, almost felt that 104...Damage... Buff initial melee to 122 (+18 damage) Remove 3 ticks of burn (-21) bingo more reliable.
