Dead orbit shotgun
[spoiler]This shotgun is obtained by a quest unlocked by reaching dead orbit rank 50.
You must help dead orbit find technology to improve thier ships for full exodus as they are worried a fullscale cabal invasion is imminent and hive will be following them too.
You must travel to Mars to create a better warp device for their ships so they can escape easily (and do better than Eris' ship against a dreadnought) by looking in the laboratories of the clovis bray facility to find golden age technology in a mission called "Forgotten designs"
Then, to create these golden age cloaking devices you must travel to the perfection chamber to gather some siva remnants from aksis's corpse to craft the components in a second mission called "Graverobber"
You must then report your finding to Shiro as he has knowledge of how to use siva to craft this item. Shiro informs you that he will pass these drives on to dead orbit but this technology may also be used to create weapon capable of advanced cloaking abilities and Banshee would be the guy to talk to.
Banshee says that it is possible but it would need to be more compact to use these advanced speed devices on guardians but he could reverse engineer fallen stealth kits to do so.
You must kill and collect 25 stealth packs from fallen so banshee can compact this gear.
Banshee has just received information on a new omolon prototype shotgun that is being created with many fire modes and thinks its the perfect frame for this technology . So you must use the prototype to kill 20 of each enemy type as well as guardians to gather data on the functionality of this new shotgun.
Then, Banshee completes the shotgun to create:
[b][i][u]Flight or Flight[/u][/i][/b]
It has bullet modes instead of barrels
Compact bullet(arc damage)- high range grouped shot but less firerate (comparable to matador) and damage and can hold 5 shots in the magazine. Increasing Range increases damage at long distances.
Expansion bullet(void damage)- massive high damage spread with high rate of fire (comparable to fourth horseman) large range drop off and only carries 3 bullets in the magazine. Increasing range decreases spread.
Ricochet bullet(solar damage)- single charge shot (0.5 seconds to charge with high damage and no damage drop off but low accuracy and ammo efficiency 1 in the magazine. Increasing range decreases Bloom of the projectile
It then has a selectable perk of
Smallbore or rifled barrel
Then Selectable perks of
Crowd control or feeding frenzy
Then its exotic perk
Exodus - grants +7 speed while shields are not active
The weapon looks like an omolon sniper-fusion hybrid with sparking wires covering it and decked out in a dead orbit paint job. [/spoiler]
House judgement sword idea rank 15
[spoiler]it would be stealth vandal swords! Double attack speed but half damage compared to a normal sword using r3, l2 makes you invisible for 5 seconds and drains 10 ammo a second with a 3 second cooldown, r2 is a single target attack that does normal sword swing damage but has increased damage while invisible. Attacks disable invisibility. It would be obtained by eliminating the last of the wolves, the silent fang. it would end in a cutscene where you would pull its blades from its cold dead hands.[/spoiler]
Fwc fusion rifle
[spoiler]a daito weapon with a Vex themed quest at rank 50, this weapon has
Gatling fire, a one second charge followed by a stream of fusion bolts, low damage but high rof and mag size(arc damage)
Focusing fire, no charge but starting with a large spread that as you hold the trigger condenses in a continuous beam. Brilliant ammo efficiency but not the best damage(void damage)
Shell fire, a single round magazine with a large aoe blast with high damage but low rate of fire as reload is needed after eaxh shot
And finally an exotic perk called fortune teller, enimies damaged by this weapon are visable through walls for 3 seconds
The gun will have the smooth appearance of jade rabbit, with a sleek purple and yellow paint job and fwc spray painted in white on the barrel[/spoiler]
Please give me constructive criticism on my design. I would like help designing the two missions also.

5 RespuestasBesides the gun way, way, way to much. Permanent invisibility just screams never make me a reality. Also not to be mean. But ideas and idea guys are a dime a dozen. Company's don't care nor look for that. Company's care if you can program and code.

1 RespuestaThe Dead Orbit shottie definitely had the most thought put into it. Nicely constructed questline, and well thought-out exotic abilities. I also like the idea of the house of judgment sword, but it could use a more complete questline. An updated Skolas kill, maybe?

1 RespuestaI would have gone with faction swords that you quest into an exotic... you have to be level 50 in that faction to earn it and use it. I would also give it a perk like invective, so that it generates its own ammo.... except in crucible... Like a heavy tank broad sword for NM A sleek katana for DO And a shorter double sword set for FWC

1 RespuestaOkay so I have a few things to say about this. Two good and one bad. Here we go. An invisibility shotgun with matador64 stats that go along with [b]increased[/b] damage at range. I'm sorry but no, this idea will utterly destroy crucible. I understand you need an awful lot of dead orbit rep to get it, but still. Cloaked matador/sniper hybrid, oh please god no, don't let this be a thing. I like the idea of an omolon shotgun, omolon has never made one before so this is pretty cool. Building upon this idea, I think a rank 50 faction exotic is a great idea, and I think it would be interesting if the trend of new foundry frames is comtinued. Here's my idea for what they could be. - SUROS sniper for new monarchy - HÄKKE fusion rifle for FWC These could be any weapon that they haven't made though, not just specials. Like these for example. - OMOLON machine gun. (Aka deadly hose) - SUROS fusion rifle. - HÄKKE scout rifle Point is, I like the idea of a new weapon for a foundry being made into an exotic faction weapon. Third point, I really like being able to change weapon damage, just like the murmur from year one. I like how it changes stats completely with damage. The only thing I would change with your idea is the arc configuration, increased range but tighter spread is nice, but, don't increase damage at range, it's a shotgun, not a sniper rifle.

5 RespuestasI have a great faction exotic idea!! There should be class specific items, like marks and bonds and cloaks, for all factions. They should be exotic. You should have to reach rank 25 to obtain them and do a quest. Then after a while they should become meaningless and be made into legendaries! Oh wait....

1 RespuestaSome good ideas here but much too involved this late in the life cycle of Destiny 1. They can barely manage to get anything done with such a small team so adding something like this is absolutely never going to happen. Maybe they'll take some inspiration from these ideas and put them towards Destiny 2.

It seems like this weapon does A LOT already. EDIT: on 2nd thought, the invis+agility when health is low seems more like an exotic armor perk than a weapon perk.

6 RespuestasFirst firingoption would just be another over ranged shotgun in the crucible Second firing option is unbalanced. Lower impact shotguns need more ammo to be Balance (or at least close) Third firing option is a fusion rifle. Exotic perk is overkill.
