If you do aksis challenge on normal mode it can drop at 385 light

The Steel Medulla is a hard mode weapon.

It can still drop from the aksis challenge I have 143 completions with 67 on hard and have seen the sniper from normal Vosik challenge and the pulse from normal aksis challenge

Holy crap that's dedication. Did norm and hm's couple of times to get what I wanted then bounced. Would srsly rather do patrol for 3 years straight than run any raid in excess of 100 times. ;)

Yes but doing challenge drops every kind of weapon for that section no matter what difficulty is, it will only be 385 tops but you can acquire it

I owe you an apology. I was unaware that this raid allowed challenge mode on normal. Wow, so why the hell would anyone ever do it on hard again? That's hilarious. I had no idea they did that.

That's hilarious. I had no idea they did that.[/quote] You can do king's fall challenge on normal as well (the only other raid with challenge mode), but the loot is stuck to normal mode loot. You'll even get the calcified fragments from normal mode challenge. Hard mode challenge on wrath gives you the perfected ornaments to apply to your hard mode gear. Also, hm is the only way the raid ship will drop.

Well, the ornaments and I think the challenge emblem is only for hard mode.

Well that's ok... I deleted my sniper and scout for infusion a long time ago and wanted to re-acquire them. Nice to know it can be done the easy way.
