I believe that our Grimoire scores should carry over into Destiny 2. Emblems as well, considering that a good number of them were unlocked via achievements.
I'm not an elitist (especially with my Crucible K/D), but I don't want to go into Destiny 2 clean slate at the same point as someone jumping fresh into the franchise. It would be nice to have something to show for it. What are your thoughts?

please make the years spent playing this game worth it by carrying the score over ! ! !

8 Respuestasthere are very few things more unappealing in a game than being told I can't have access to something because I didn't start playing the franchise x years ago and devote all my time to it. That's why I've always been against things like the old B.net rank emblems and the MoT timing out instead of just being accomplishments anyone can complete. And that's also why I'm against carrying those over into a completely new game.
-
I hope it doesn't. Its funny when people get butthurt.

5 RespuestasWhat is grimoire going to give me for destiny 2. I'll tell you, nothing. It was just to read the story and to see what you achieved in destiny. That's like saying you want your destiny 1 console trophies to carry to destiny 2. It doesn't make sense

6 RespuestasAll maps in Destiny 2 should have the minimum size of First Light
-
2 RespuestasNah, new guardians same grim? Nah
-
3 RespuestasSo is it dlc or a new game? New game new start.
-
Umm...everything's carrying over my friend, Celery Stick and all.
-
2 RespuestasNew game-New slate Don't worry my melting snowflake friend; there will be more winters to come. Trust me. But I do like them sneakers you're rocking.
-
Meh...maybe just give me a new emblem or something for playing destiny 1.

3 RespuestasEditado por CommanderLouiz: 1/10/2017 4:44:31 PMI love how all we've gotten is a leak on Reddit that says we won't have our stuff, and everybody takes it as an absolute certainty. Edit: oh wait, i forgot, this has all been "confirmed" by Kotaku, so of course te true. Has Bungie said our stuff wouldn't transfer to the game that we all figure they're making but (Surprise) also haven't confirmed? My guess Is no. So who's to say everything won't?
-
im kind of surprised at the amount of people that disagree with this...i agree it should carry over i don't know so much about gear and weapons i have mixed feelings about that but i think everything else should
-
I'd like shaders to come (unless they decide to add some kind of color pallete.)
-
2 RespuestasWhy? What does it give you?
-
I reckon keep grimoire, shaders and emblems. Maybe even give out an exotic emblem for the finals days of destiny 1.
-
Agreed 100%
-
I don't mind grimoire being reset, but keeping a nod from what we did in Destiny 1 is a must have for Destiny 2. ~TheGreatNike
-
Hall of Monuments as in Guild Wars would be awesome.
-
I agree. Grimoire, emblems, and maybe shaders?
-
1 RespuestaThe "supposed" leak yesterday said grimoire and character progression stay, but no weapons or armor transfer. Again, this isn't conformed.
-
1 RespuestaI hope it doesn't. It will be funny.

2 RespuestasEditado por NeoRye69: 1/10/2017 9:25:13 PMI say Grimoire, Shaders, Emblems, and anything that was acquired by using Real money. Example being the Iron Gjallerwing Sparrow. Only other thing I would want to carry over is my Characters with all the recorded Play Time they have clocked. Losing that, the ability to check and be like yeah I've put in 50+ days worth of game time into my Hunter alone, even if it shows nerdy no life tendencies it is still the fact that the effort and time has been put in. Not saying that any Guns Armor or Subclass exp needs to carry over with it, just the Base Character itself
-
It's a different game, so no.
-
Meh, I'd prefer if we just had an Index/ archivelike Mass Effect and everything we have unlocked from destiny 1 goes into that instead, with a voice over that reads everything for you too... That be awesome imo.
-
we don't even know if D2 will even have grimore, so no.
-
That's assuming destiny 2 has grimiore. But I agree with you.
