you literally have no idea what you're talking about and probably haven't ever played gunslinger. that is all.
EDIT: SPECIFICALLY THE RANGE
-
Ya but throwing knives actually require skill. Thunderstrike has aim assist and lunge.
-
3 RespuestasThat's why there is only one top tier sweat player left who uses a nightstalker. People who think smoke are OP are the people who use stormcaller, with clever dragon and matador.
-
29 RespuestasRange is the same. But the true problem about the thunderstrike is the fact it will damage you instantly and the fact it tracks you and 98% of time will hit you in a incredible range. To anyone saying that its not broken you're horrifically wrong. You can miss a smoke and a throwing knife. You can't miss a thunderstrike.
-
I'm not sure why everyone hates nightstalker. There is a reason you barely see them in destiny tournaments
-
Editado por Blame: 12/28/2016 8:52:56 PMOnly things they need to nerf/ remove are Stickies High cal on clever dragon Make jugg more like an overshield(shouldnt be able to block a headshot w a sniper or a golden gun shot... Duh) Skorris(PvP only) Maybe amplify on stormcaller just a little bit
-
15 RespuestasNo more buffs. No more nerf. Just fix the meta and everything will be good.
-
1 RespuestaI always saw nightstalker as a support class seeing how it's difficult to use it outside of team based activities. The grenades by themselves are bad, but together make them a deadly pair. If a nightstalker can't use that combination, then I expect a striker to not use lightning nades or jugg.

3 RespuestasHunter main..... That explains the Nuva Ring you have as an avatar
-
Hunters have ranged melee because they're not supposed to win boxing matches with Titans or warlocks...also neither is a ohk...so I agree with op
-
3 RespuestasWhat if....what if the melees were never intended to be absolutely equal? What if movement/evasion was never intended to be equal? What if, by design, certain subclasses have perks that out perform other classes perks in the same category (melee, evasion, etc.). Food for thought.

Smokes are op
-
5 RespuestasEditado por What: 12/27/2016 6:54:47 PMlol but the range of throwing knife and smoke is further than Thunderstrike though. Like this is fact. As others have stated I would much much much rather face Stormcallers than nightstalkers. Nightstalkers with Smoke, Spikre nade, shadestep, etc have become the most cancerous thing in Destiny pvp and its not even close Honestly I rarely get thunderstriked at max range. Most of the time its at the same range as my own melee. On the other hand I get smoked way out of my melee range pretty much multiple times a game. And smoke blurs your vision, slows you, and damages you
-
3 RespuestasMost of the time, the kills you'll be getting with throwing knives will essentially match the range that you can kill from with amplitude thunder strike. Smoke is a great melee and I wouldn't change it but thunderstrike is easily better than throwing knife. That's why literally no one uses gunslingers to compete. They have bad grenades and a bad melee. They're fun, but they're not good compared to strikers, stormcallers, voidwalkers, bladedancers, and nightstalkers.
-
1 RespuestaSpeaking about range smoke and throwing knives both have greater range than thunderstrike however both smoke and throwing knives require much more skill to be used effectively in comparison to thunderstrike
-
Lol people. I like both. The way they are. And. Man. I still think knife takes skill to throw after a certain distance
-
1 RespuestaI wish titan had some sort of Axe to throw.... And complain about
-
Oh look.... A whining hunter...
-
I like your shoes
-
10 RespuestasNow im curious to try out stormcaller with a close/personal and party crasher. I hate that class, its probably the most boring of all the lock subclasses... But that melee hole carp
-
5 RespuestasWhat you fail to consider imo is one thing in particular. Storm melee locks on and is instant damage (i.e. No travel time). Throwing knives and smokes (knives moreso) have travel time and must be aimed.
-
Travel time
-
Thunder strike is better than throwing knife because for throwing knife you have to aim
-
Smoke is more versatile and effective than thunder strike. More importantly can we get blink strike fixed?
-
2 RespuestasHate it when as a hunter you melee but it ends up doing your melee charge instead and when you do your melee charge it just melees instead lol. There are both pros and cons to both classes. Hunters have poor melees because their charges are better when utilized. Blade is probably the most consistent subclass for meleeing out of the hunter. I think both pros and cons for the warlock and hunters will balance each other out. Just that it's a shotgun dominant era right now and ranged melees really pair well with them.
-
You're right, because nothing compares to getting a stick around medal from pinning a knife to someone's head.
-
2 RespuestasYour right, melee abilities should not be compared with other melee abilities, especially when fusion rifles need a nerf.
