It's only the second week. You will get it eventually. What's the rush?

I've already earned it in various different ways in year 1 (bought it from Xur, had it drop in multiple different raids and nightfalls, even got in from trials from a bounty). 2. It's by far my favorite exotic and the fact that Bungie took it away from us, so we couldn't use it in current content for a year and a half, only to give it a 3% drop rate is an insult for any previous owners of it. 3. The current way to get Icebreaker is obviously Bungie's way to get people to do the nightfall again. No one saw it as necessary anymore and the low drop rate keeps people playing. It's not content, it's a grind. Edit 1: to anyone saying I'm acting entitled. I am not saying Bungie should just give me Icebreaker. I'd be fine with earning it again, and I will still play to get it, I'm just pissed I only have 3 chances a week with a 3% drop rate. That's not real content, that's just a lottery to try and get a weapon I already grinded for in year 1. Bungie has knows we hate the low drop rate RNG content and constantly say "they're working for new ways to have players earn gear" yet the put this into the game.

Gun is basically useless in pve endgame or trials, I'm fine never having it again. Had it drop the Friday following destinys release and loved it for a year, gun has had its time in the sun, I'd rather a new sniper take its place then return to that one
-
It's not a complaint it's me saying in my opinion the that the drop chance should be increased because the it's seems to be to low compared to thorn quest which is a 10 percent drop chance
-
Every exotic should be a quest based on it's lore. Putting them behind an RNG curtain is a piss poor tactic for "adding content" If you want players to do the Nightfall again, bring back the XP buff you got from completing it.

Not complaining. I love mine!

4 RespuestasBut...but... I did grind for almost a year to get this weapon in year one... I already have it. Am I doing something wrong here? Because I think I should be able to buy it.

11 RespuestasBy the way. If you think people should stop complaining. You're wrong. Corporations lose hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue every year because people who feel slighted just say "screw it I'm done". No angry letters, no second chance to make things right. Just get up and leave. That's ignoring the people who actively make it their business to convince other people not to do business with said company. Bungie WANTS to hear about it when people are upset or angry about something because the alternative is waking up one day and wondering why their company is suddenly in chapter 7. "We thought we were doing great! Nobody was complaining!". Here's the fact here. Some executive thought it would be a good idea to advertise the return of icebreaker to draw people back into the game without telling them it has a drop rate of less than 1%, and that this was to force people to try to drag their friends back into the game to play the nightfall with, for several months, until it drops. People feel angry and they feel like this is just another in a long line of cases when Bungie has manipualted them and taken them for granted. Boom. Just like that this event was over for thousands, perhaps tens or possibly even hundreds of thousands of people and they logged right back out without buying anything. How does that translate? "One ill considered corporate decision just lost us potentially millions of dollars." And as soon as the shareholders figure that out, someone's going to be coming into work one day to find security waiting for them with a cardboard box. People giving feedback tells the corporation when mistakes are being made, mistakes that are costing them money, and tells them they need to evaluate if the profits being generated by that decision are worth the amount of negative feedback they're receiving and the losses that come with it. They don't just want to hear people's objections, their survival depends on them considering those objections in their decision making process.

I got it from my second bounty. Now if only I could get nemesis star....

Got it you peasants.

18 RespuestasIt's about time something in this game wasn't bullshit-easy to get again. Most guns are far too easy to obtain now.
-
30 Respuestashere's what I think, If everyone had the icebreaker, it wouldn't be special
-
1 RespuestaIB was my first exotic ever. I used the hell out of it until y2
-
All the people complaining about Ice Breaker only want it for PvP. They hear "regenerating ammo" and start getting hyped.
-
I got it
❄️
-
1 RespuestaI did the nightfall once and I still don't have it. Wtf
-
It never dropped for me in yr 1. I had to acquire it post nerf and at useless light levels via legacy engrams. So yeah, I'm worried it'll happen again. BNG can be a fickle witch.
-
I earned my first Ice Breaker from tough Skolas and earned my second one from quick Nightfall. Let's all hope Xur doesn't sell it and reduce the drop rate to 001%😆
-
Totally agree with the fact that if you grinded it out in yr 1,you should be able to buy it at the Exotic blue print kiosk. Then again what is the point of getting it since they nerfed it.,plus the fact it will be obsolete along with everything else when Destiny 2 comes out. Oh, and don't forget that for all exotics out there, there is a legendary that out performs it. So chill and enjoy the game for what it is😀

2 RespuestasIce breaker is so shit, bungie make it better!

Wow I don't have it yet so unfair wow give it to me now bungie wooooowwwwwes

69 RespuestasEditado por Devasstator: 12/22/2016 11:04:55 PMThe problem is the content to grind is terribly boring. No one wants to grind out 50 hours of stale content to try and get an old weapon. I assume people want to get it and move on to other games since this game is pretty much done.

26 RespuestasEditado por Majin_Buddha_: 12/23/2016 12:58:09 PMMan, none of these people could play borderlands legit. I keep reading "it's too much a grind". Try getting good rolls on legendary loot in borderlands legit (before terramorphous), then come talking about a grind. Loot oriented games are meant to be a grind. You don't want to grind, you're playing the wrong game.
-
I got it first try lol
-
Dude. We are trying to get back to the future!
-
2 RespuestasI got it first bounty :)

On the basis that Destiny gives you what you already have, I put year 1 Icebreaker in character inventory and turned in bounty, then received year 3 icebreaker. Maybe coincidence, maybe not.
