So we were in History today watching this crappy movie made in like 1939 and an announcement comes over the intercom saying, "Teachers we are entering lockdown mode now". And then everybody though that it was a drill so we look at the teacher and she is PANICKING. It's lunch time right now for some kids so the teacher screams at some black girls eating lunch across the hallway from us to come in the classroom.
One of them runs in and says "I'm gonna get in here before I get shot" another looks in the room and goes "I ain't going in here, heck no." and she walks away. The other one is no rush and as she walks in she goes, "Ah crap my phone" and strolls out the door. At this point the teacher is freaking out so she just locks the door leaving the girl in the hallway.
At this point we are all in the room on are phones and a girl in front of me grabs me and says "I wanna die today". while I jump back because this was the girl that once dug her fingernails into my arm, breaking the skin and causing it to bleed, and I'm pretty nervous at this point; I'm in a class with a kid who made a hit list and another one who threatened to shoot up the school. I'm watching them closely and a scene keeps playing in my head where they look at each other and nod, then reach into their backpacks and pull out AK-47s and lite up the classroom.
Then a whole battalion of police cars come roaring past the window so we run over there to check it out. We can't see anything but a kid pulled up the news and saw that 2 men were robbing a house in the neighborhood next to us, so being the immature high-schoolers we are we decided to elect a sacrifice and if course it was me.
Luckily the police caught them and nobody was killed (or sacrificed for that matter) so we went back to watching the stupid movie unfortunately.
Sorry for the ani- climatic ending guys.

Your school is full of -blam!-ed up safe space weirdos. Consider transferring.

Oh man. Lockdowns. Back in grade 6 on the school sports day (It's a day when the school goes out into the field and we play games with our team) we had a lockdown. We were about to go into the field and meet up with our teams. But out of no where the intercom (or whatever it's called) comes on and the principal says "There's a threat on school property we are going into a Yellow Lockdown". So we have to sit around and wait, then probably 2 minutes later the intercom comes on again and the principal is saying "We are in a code red full lockdown. THIS IS NOT A DRILL." So we go and sit in the corner of the room with all the lights off. The lockdown. There was about 2-3 girls crying and the teacher whispering them to keep calm and that we'd be OK as long as we didn't make noise. Me ofc only had one thought on my mind. My little brother He was in grade 3 at the time. (My school was K-7). I was praying to god that he would be ok and luckily he was. The threat. I never found out. But what I remember someone else telling me was that a man had come onto school property and gotten into a fight/argument with a parent volunteer and stabbed the man. Maybe I'll google it or look at old school letters and find out. Hold your family close because there may be a time where you or they are in danger and you don't want your last words to them being an argument. ALSO. Take your lockdown drills VERY seriously because you'll never know when something could happen.

I know a couple kids at my school that dress and act like they'll pull a gun out at any moment. I've begun to keep tabs and I've already created an evacuation plan for myself.

Editado por Silent: 12/4/2016 12:59:37 AMIf you think you know who is going to shoot, assuming someone will, standing there thinking of scenarios isn't the best choice. You thought the girl next to you might have been a potential shooter. You know what that means? As soon as you see them pulling a gun out you could tackle them and get the weapon out of their possession. Just saying.

There's a kid that's been wearing a trenchcoat recently. Needless to say, I'm a little worried.

Oh thank god. Lockdowns are the worst in any scenario. There's been to many school shootings, I'm just glad your school made it out okay.

My school went into lockdown once when I was little. Turns out it was because a hunter was shooting squirrels from his car on the street right next to our school

My school has a lockdown as well. They never told us what it was. The schools Twitter mention reports of the cops investigating some suspicious people. Some talk I overheard mention people drawing Satanic symbols and a body.

Today some staff member at my school got on the PA system started talking about how much of a privilege it is to be at the school,(it's a meme among the class because we go to a public school) then said something about a girl in Texas committing suicide for a reason that I don't remember, then he said all perky "have a good Friday" after mentioning suicide.

Someone started a fire in auto shop yesterday and caused the whole school to lose their shit

11 RespuestasOur school went into lockdown recently because a teacher had a heart attack and had to be carried out. I just played tunak tunak tun and the Isis theme song really loud as we were in the gym as I felt like -blam!-ing around with everyone in there. Through my years of school, the closest thing to a proper emergency was when someone pulled the fire alarm.

I remember in middle school we had a lock down due to a guy roaming around the area that escaped a mental hospital.. He wasn't well..

One time we had a lockdown for like 5 minutes. Apparently some guy walked into the building,(I don't even know how, you have to be buzzed in through the front, where he came through, and the other doors are all locked.) Nobody knew who he was and he just walked around with a backpack. Then he just left.
