Clever Dragon (short) rant.
So before rise of iron, a lot of people were complaining and saying "use a primary for once!" So bungie gives us the clever dragon and now people are getting crap for using a primary? Make up your minds. It doesn't matter how good it is, the point is that you wanted us to use primary more....well, you got your wish and now you're unhappy. Smh

2 RespuestasI had 12 clever dragons from IB. I deleted 4 of them and still have never used them in pvp. I have 8 in postmaster and have no room in my vault. Omnigul can suck it.

5 RespuestasThey is no reasonable buff to their primaries. They would have to be buffed to the point of og vex to compete inside their engagement range. Clever dragon can eat your health bar at the slightest glance out past scout rifle ranges. Too much damage, too much flinch, too much accuracy, too little damage falloff. 3 clever dragon bursts = 3 1/2 -4 trigger pulls of other 3 precision hit kill weapon. Please stop with this buff other primaries shit.

This past Ib the primary i used the most was my haakons hatchet. Most games i went positive using it as well. I suck with the clever dragon.

9 RespuestasI bet that the majority of the people complaining are the ones who switch to their secondary weapon the moment the match starts and never use their primary the whole game. These are the people who consistently lose gun battles because they never learned how to engage with a primary weapon. Now that there are primaries that can actually deal with shotgun warriors and hard scoping snipers, these guys start crying for a nerf. Everyone has a chance at a decent primary now, be it a high rate of fire pulse, the vendor palindrome or one of the new scout rifles introduced with this expansion. Even some of the auto rifles are decent. People should learn how to use their primary instead of throwing a tantrum everytime they get destroyed while charging half way across the map to get into shotgun range.

It is a darn good gun and if go in needing to win or get a bounty done quick then may use it but switched to The Waltz tonight and had just as much fun with that

6 RespuestasI beat he clever dragon with... my grasp, hawksaw, eyasluna, last word, suros pdx, my mida, my palindrome, my no land beyond.... I don't get why grasp didn't explode like the clever dragon, they are the same weapon, lol. I guess it's easier to access a good rolled clever dragon than a good grasp. But anyway, yes there are many things that need a buff, but it's the first VIABLE CONSISTANT PRIMARY!! And you nerf herders want to nerf it?? I'd say make more weapons like clever dragon. That's what all primarys should feel like, viable and consistant. I'm so sick of nerfs!! Next tuning patch better be a really big one! If there is ONE more nerf. I'M LEAVING THIS GAME! I have given his game way to many chances!

It's not OP. It's just popular. The lack of diversity in the crucible is real. I too am a victim but I switch loadouts from time to time.

I've had 5 clever dragons all got dismantled don't need it when I have the steel medulla and wipe the floor with all clever dragon users get good scrubs

I think people complaining that it's the only gun they get killed by are full of crap, I get killed by Mapador and hand cannons way more often than Clever Dragon.

1 RespuestaHere's the thing about your topic, the problem why people are complaining about the primary people are using is because there's only 3 viable options to chose from, Eyasluna hand cannon, Grasp of Malok, and Clever Dragon. Well maybe 4, scout rifles are pretty good. Reasons people use these guns is because it has a fast time to kill. If we had every primary buffed to have a faster kill time maybe we would see some diversity. But I am not allowed to speak because I have a low average 1.0 kd and my opinion doesn't matter so my opinion is pretty much ignored. I just blame the Youtubers that ruin the community with OMG THIS GUN IS OP YOU MUST USE IT IN ORDER TO GIT GUD with click bait titles
