Proof the ban hammer works
Well, for the last month or so due to no fault of my own, my upload speeds have been super inconsistent (ranging from, 300 kpbs to 3 mbps causing red yellow green bar inconsistencies), and my download has been fine (45 mbps). I play crucible and trials only, I was worried my yellow and red bar could possibly get me banned or suspended, and two days after my isp fixed my issue (back to 45mbps down and 6mbps up) (it was my whole zip codes upload speeds were messed up) I'm restricted from crucible for 2 weeks!
I'm salty, yes, considering I see dosers frequently get away with it, but I'm glad people with shit connections get looked at as well. Even if it happened to me. Temporary problem out of my control, which has now been fixed (thanks at&t for the prompt fix, aholes) but at least I know someone is swinging that hammer.

5 RespuestasHere's proof it doesn't work: I have lagged in every single match i have played in destiny. Red bar every time. Its just that my wifi sucks and i cannot do anything about it. I haven't gotten a warning, ban, or restriction in my 35 ish days of playtime.

They are too strict in the forums. I cannot call someone stupid. I have 3 warnings. But seriously they need to crack down on DDOSers because just laggy people are erring hir a bit harder now. Improvements could be made but it is not necessary

Yeah AT&T will do that, their network is so antiquated in locations. I will be switching to Comcast when the opportunity presents itself. AT&T's upload is horrendous.

I've been on red bar since launch always getting abuse for having a bad laggy connection. Been reported a billion times. And I've still not been banned.

Bungie wanted to make more profit by not using big server farms for the game and used shitty P2P networking instead! So we are to ban for bad connections, but Bungie can ignore to deliver an essential feature. Why did I pay 170€? Bungievision is a bad company, but you fanboys love a good whipping by your slave masters. smh

Well... it wouldn't matter as much if Deatiny had DEDICATED SERVERS for PVP. That in addition to a solid latency compensation engine, combined with a 30hz server.... probably would have dramtically improved your expirence and you may not be restricted today. But unfortunately.... that shit doesn't sell silver.
