[PETITION]Rejoining Trials Matches
So I have really been wanting something that would let me rejoin a match after being kicked/DDosd. It would work something like this, when said player is kicked or error coded, they get EXACTLY one and a half minutes to rejoin. ONLY the person that was kicked could rejoin, no one else. This option would also not happen if you manually left, this would prevent any kind of cheating. Once you rejoin you will spawn in dead so to prevent any other kinds of cheeses.
I believe this would help with the DDos problem going around, as well as prevent the jack*ss leader from booting you when your team is up 4-0 with two enemies down on your 9-0 game.
If you guys have some suggestions I'd love to hear them.

If you were actually DDOSed, there's no way you could be reconnected, because you'd have had to reset your router.

4 RespuestasI strongly disagree with this while also strongly agreeing with it. Why am I ambivalent? Pros: 1) If you were a victim of a DDoS, this would solve it. 2) If you were a victim of Bungie's awful matchmaking/netcode/just wrongfully booted, this would solve it. Cons: 1) People with awful connections could rejoin and potentially cause unbalanced matches. We all know how red bars are favoured in Destiny. 2) People rejoining matches would lengthen matches, especially if they joined during the post-round screen. 3) People with poor connections getting kicked and rejoining over and over would lengthen matches and cause a lot of hostility between players, in an already toxic playlist. Ultimately, I side with no rejoining because people could still cause a lot of issues by rejoining. It'd be negative overall. It could solve some problems, sure, but people would be annoyed by laggy players rejoining and causing issues in-game.

2 RespuestasI see where you are coming from, but if your team is up 4-0 on your 9-0 game you should still be able to win with only 2 people. I've done it multiple times just throwing that out there, but yea this is a great idea and I'm in!!

2 RespuestasA ddos is when all the internet service in your house or connected to Wi-Fi. It can last a few hours so you wouldn't be able to get back in.

2 RespuestasNo. No rejoins. You wouldn't even have time in a minute and a half if you actually got DDOS'ed. Also, would the game just continue to be played? So your team would be a down a man anyways, and then they'd just lag you out again...lol

2 RespuestasI hate to burst all your bubbles but this will never work. There's one key point that clearly you guys haven't thought about. If you're able to be kicked back to orbit without taking a loss, then people would be DDoS'ing their own teammates when they are about to lose. Or better yet, just unplug your own router. This would be way too easy to abuse.

Why have a time limit? If you were in a given match but got booted, you should be able to rejoin at any time.

I know this is semi unrelated. But yesterday, I was playing trials with some friends, literally every other game someone got an error code on our team and or the other team. Now luckily we are pretty good so we are able to do 2v3s most of the time. We got our flawless, and we're gonna try again today. We do it, at about 5-0 w/ mercy. I get error code baboon. EVERYONE WAS GREEN BAR WITH NO LAG. They win the match 5-0 so we continue even though I lost my mercy. Then at the beginning of the next match, (once again, all green bars w/ no lag) I get ANOTHER error code baboon. Then I'm mad. I reset my Xbox and my router, then go in a rumble game to see if it's okay. It was perfect. So unfortunately my team lost 4-5. We decide to keep going and then my other teammate lags out. (This has been happening the entire weekend with everyone I've been playing with/against) We play the match and win 5-3. We ended up just playing other games because of the frustration even though we were winning, but i was wondering, has anyone else experienced these crazy lag related issues in this past week of trials? Or is it just my team and all the other teams we are versing that are experiencing these issues EVEN THOUGH we have great internet?

10 RespuestasWhy not make it a rematch? If it's 1v3 or 2v3 then it's a rematch or else everyone gets kicked to orbit with no penalty to progress. This should deter the cheaters.

4 RespuestasSO pull the the Ethernet cable, rejoin so your orb can be at a random place not guarded by the other team, so you can revive with full melee and nades, full special ammo....... No thanks, I already get rolled enough.
