Why don't people use the First Curse in PvP more often?
I remember in Year One, The Salt from the Tears of the Many laid to waste by the power of the Last Word, was superfluous enough to fill the biggest crater on the Moon. And now, it seems that Karma has returned in the form of it's sister, The First Curse. Really. This thing shreds hard.
Everyone's using the Clever Dragon now, which is cool. But, if you are proficient with Hand Cannons and are quick on the fly, give that thing a try. I have used it for the last number of Banner Matches. And it gave me the chills that The Last Word used to.
Note: I'm surprised that this many comments have appeared. Some are thought driven. Others sound like salt or some sort of bad rhetoric about the opponents or whatnot.(noticeably made by those with a shotgun as their primary)

Ttk is too long, it's the same reason people don't run Ill will, it's two heads one body, the eyasluna and palindrome are two body one head

2 RespuestasBottom line, TTK is too long. A higher ROF HC, with slightly less impact is a 3 headshot kill, just like the FC. You need LITC to make the FC archetype at all appealing, but only if the other HC you have to choose doesn't have LITC. Make all FC archetypes a two headshot kill and they'd be in business. To balance that, lower the range (increase the bloom cone), lower the stability, and or, lower the mag size.

2 RespuestasIt's slow rate of fire makes very situational. you have to pick your engagements carefully, like you have to be close to cover to duck behind and medium or longer sight lines. It's like using a high impact scout but with half the range.

I like it but other guns do the job faster. It absolutely cleans up if you run in a pack tho.

That archetype is bad only because of its slow RoF if it did more damage people would use it because a palindrome/eyasluna does the same job but faster

What's a hand cannon? I've never heard that type of special.

It takes up an exotic slot and it can't roll with perks that enable two shots like legendaries. That's why no one uses it. It sucks.

3 RespuestasI love the First Curse. It's one of my favorite weapons, and I have tons of kills with it. That said, it's not very good. Everything it can do, a max range Eyasluna/Palindrome/Imago/etc can do better. 1 head 2 body, only faster. It could almost be competitive if it was given Icarus, a boost to range to put it at max HC range, and the ADS bonuses were applied more consistently.

I love the way it sounds and handles, I just can't get the hang of the fire rate. Keeps jamming on me cause I'm out of sync :/ Maybe just take it into patrol and play around with it for a while would help but I don't want to put it the work haha

I've used it in banner this time around on certain maps. It's definitely underrated.

Main reason I don't use it as much as I use to is simply because it's not great for 6's, in 3's you can absolutely dominate but in 6's there's too much to handle. You'll bound to be overrun with all the shotguners and clever dragons.
