Ok, so I'm mostly on board with eververse and why it's there. Only cosmetic, need it to keep the lights on and do fun things like srl and the current event, yes. I agree.
However, for players to be willing to make these purchases, rng imho should be more heavily weighted towards items you don't have, or better yet, gone. In game drops is one thing, but watching someone drop $50 (just $10 shy of the cost of Destiny: the collection) and get hosed by drops makes me not want to buy silver at all.
In short, if Bungie is going to offer these things, they need to respect my money.
I might be wrong here, but I think better or guaranteed payoff from treasures of the lost would get more players like myself who are on the fence to drop a bit of coin here and there. It might even be overall more profitable if it takes less money to get everything if that means more players are buying. But what do I know?

1 Respuesta$45 in and got flamewolf, sparrow, and ghost ghost. Not one ornament though
-
1 RespuestaI'd be happy with...pay $50.00 get all this stuff. Instead, I get everything BUT the flaming wolf. Buddy dropped $20.00 and got the wolf on third box. I have 2 more quest to run to see if it drops. Fingers crossed 😁
-
For £8 I got flamewolf, the terrify emote, Atheon, aksis and ghost mask :) not too shabby :)
-
1 RespuestaEvery. Game with micro transactions. Ever.
-
1 RespuestaI have about $10 in silver 1100 total. I was thinking about buying mask packs but now I kinda wanna buy radiant treasures when the new ornaments are realesed on them. What should I do?
-
I got a pack from eververse, and the scary float and rotate head emote. I was hoping for flaming wolf head of course, but I got regular wolf head and some other funky stuff (the rahool spawn thing, interesting). I already had ghost ghost from previous package, I do love paprika but I'm happy enough... I am tempted to buy more packages (why not join an online casino, at least they give you some free tries!) I think they did a good job with the items, but last year was better with random chance at masks from candy and more stuff to do. Oh, and hodor, the second-best bad juju ornament
-
Meh, this is how blops 3 and overwatch do it too so whatever.
-
Spent $30, the only mask it didn't give me was the Flame Wolf. Did I get the sparrow? Nope. I did get 1 Ghost Ghost. I'm pretty happy with the revenant mask though.

Editado por nerovega: 10/27/2016 5:11:22 PMThis is really the only complaint I would have. Everything in the store should be like sparrows were. I spent $25 on silver and so far only two have been duplicate masks but on one I got the ghost ghost so it was still a win. Only missing the sparrow and 2 masks and of course one is the fire wolf. But I definitely don't agree with the people who say micro-transactions are ruining the game. Blah blah tired of hearing it. But you know at least if you get a copy its not a total waste...they give you 3 silver dust. I know its not much.
-
Bump! I'm up to thirty still no wolf. Paid forty for the skull last year..
-
I spent $40 on TOTL packages and got most everything; Deviled Ghost, Ghost Ghost, all masks, the green sparrow etc. Didn't really want to buy, eh, whatever. Actually, I really wanted the ghost ghost. Now, yes, if you're paying real money for stuff like this then it should be guaranteed (in some way/shape/form) to get what you're looking to get. Having this "it's-in-RNGesus'-hands-now" style of microtransactions is a complete joke considering how we all know how broke the RNG system is. Now if they implemented a system of buying what you want, aka CoD gun skins or something, then fine. You can, at least, know that if you're going to pay for something, you're getting exactly what you want. Or even pay a fee to get everything from X event or whatever. This is just another money grubbing scheme from Bungie. Personally sad that I did pay for this stuff but whatever. It's crap like this that will distance their user base all in exchange for a spike in revenue.

Watched the whole video. Gotta admit, I feel a little sick right now.

9 RespuestasHahahaha, bought $5 worth of silver. Got 2 treasure of the lost. Open first to get ghost ghost, aksis mask and this big eye ball. 2nd package got the sparrow and the flaming wolf, and some vials and exotic engram mask. Not bad at all.
-
1 RespuestaGambling loot boxes and lack of any real gameplay/content in this event is why I will NOT be buying ANY of the loot boxes. I encourage you to do the same, we must let Activision and Bungie see that we don't want more gambling loot boxes in the game.
-
3 RespuestasSimilar experience here for the most part... Bought 50 of silver, opened treasures, actually got Ghost Ghost, BUT... 86% of max roll with glimmer for Cabal and Spirit Bloom on Venus, which (to me personally at least) is something worse than worthless (since it cost me 50 bucks to obtain, then a nice sized chunk of my soul to dismantle). Broke, salty, and butthurt, I'm going to go re-equip my ugly ass Dread Explorer Shell now. Peace.
-
Bump please
-
As far as I'm concerned, I like to know exactly what I'm getting for my money. RNG should not be involved with purchased packages at all. It's almost like you're gambling your money and it's sad people don't realize it
-
4 RespuestasMicrotransactions are OK, in my opinion, on ONE condition. Very simple: You pay real money, you get a real item. NO surprises. You want a flaming wolf mask? You pay 2 clams for 200 silver and get one. You want an Oryx mask, or a funky shader, or 20 more doses of pumpkin-head? You order it from a menu and get what you paid for. Gambling is fine for strange coins, but let's not do it with real ones.

1 RespuestaI got some good stuff but not the one thing I was looking for... Dragonsbane. I think the game knows what I want...
-
I didn't spend any money on FoTL last year. But I did spend about $40 on SRL trying to get that black and orange sparrow. Guess what I didn't get. Yeah I got a bunch of sparrow horns and then Bungie made the mats from them useless (at least they gave us 15 silver dust for it). This year Iv spent $20 on FoTL and I did get both ghosts but only like 4 masks that wern't doubles. That's right, I opened 12 boxes 8 of which were repeats. I know its my own fault for wasting my money and Im just feeding the greed machine at Bungie HQ But something needs to change. Nobody should have to spend more than the cost of the game to get an item they want. There were people saying they spent more than $100 on SRL last year. While Im sure Bungie loves the revenue from duping their players into spending foolish amounts of money, It just pissing of most of your players. I can see it now, 2017, I get home at 12:01am after picking up my pre-order of Destiny 2, open the game case with excitement only to find out the disk it contained was Call of duty BO3.
-
3 RespuestasTwo packages and I got the ghost ghost. I'm happy and won't spend anymore.

1 RespuestaWhen Bungie implements microtransactions into the game to fund more content and events, but most of the content from the events is just more microtransactions. Very smart, yet also really greedy. I get companies always want more money, but they're also supposed to satisy the consumer. The only people this event is satisfying are people who are willing to pay real money. I will however say that SRL is a good event as it actually adds something fun many people can enjoy for free.
-
Editado por Hellekeen: 10/27/2016 4:42:09 PM500 silver for the item i want and i can choose .. maybe.. 200 silver for a 1/20 chance and with bungies weighted rng it can easily be 1/50? no way =) the ghost ghost and the flaming wolf will be behind a 1/100 ratio i guess =D

2 RespuestasIs ghost ghost a raid requirement yet?
-
7 RespuestasEditado por Haunter: 10/27/2016 3:34:16 AMI'm conflicted. On the one hand I feel kinda bad for teft. But on the other I hate people who validate the events by.buying everything, kinda feel like justice happened. Microtransactions ruin games, and this is no exception.

2 RespuestasThe crazy thing is, most of the rest of Destiny is a gamble, except you're spending time instead of money. Gaming rewards used to be based purely on skill and dedication. Now it's money and luck.
