Ok, so I'm mostly on board with eververse and why it's there. Only cosmetic, need it to keep the lights on and do fun things like srl and the current event, yes. I agree.
However, for players to be willing to make these purchases, rng imho should be more heavily weighted towards items you don't have, or better yet, gone. In game drops is one thing, but watching someone drop $50 (just $10 shy of the cost of Destiny: the collection) and get hosed by drops makes me not want to buy silver at all.
In short, if Bungie is going to offer these things, they need to respect my money.
I might be wrong here, but I think better or guaranteed payoff from treasures of the lost would get more players like myself who are on the fence to drop a bit of coin here and there. It might even be overall more profitable if it takes less money to get everything if that means more players are buying. But what do I know?
-
I feel bad for him but at the same time i don't, everyone should know by now that it is RNG, with that said i do feel that bungie should have increased the drop rate as 50 spent and no ghost ghost is very ludicrous.
-
What's even more sobering is the amount of food or other charity that money could have purchased for the homeless and needy, especially this close to the Holidays. Embarrassing.
-
I do not pay for RNG, unless it comes with sexual favors from maybe Shakira. Then I shall happily pay for RNG!

Yep! I love Destiny, I really do. But when they bring us an event that has the majority of the rewards behind microtransactions, after I just spent $50NZ just over a month ago for the latest expansion, and then this video...... What the -blam!- are we actually supporting here? I've got the money to put into gaming, and I spend plenty on emotes, etc. But this right here is something else. The masks aren't even good for anything, you're immediately disadvantaged in the actual game if you wear them. Why were they not infusable like the Sterling Treasure gear from April Update? This whole event had pretty much nothing to do with playing the -blam!-ing game! Disappointment! This game has so much potential to be the greatest game ever made, but the reasons to come back become fewer and fewer with each release, until we get this "event", which is just a blatant cash grab with no actual relevance. I'm already back on ESO. At least I'm doing the same thing over and over again in a different area, with lots of options to customize the way I play the game. And yes, it also has microtransactions, but at least I can buy what I want outright. I've got plenty of money and time to spend on gaming, and Bungie is getting less and less as time goes on. Don't worry, I won't let the door hit me on the way out. I may be back for SRL, but that would have to be a vast improvement over FotL.

16 RespuestasI spent $70 and still no wolf mask first bought a $50 card, got everything but one ornament and the flaming wolf mask drop another $20 and got the ornament but still no flaming wolf mask wtf deej / bungie
-
6 RespuestasOkay so I watched this video thinking I just wanted to see what sort of mug would buy silver. Basically wanted to laugh at them. By the end, I actually felt sorry for this guy, he genuinely looked sad and like he wanted to cry. What sort of developers want their fanbase to feel like this after paying real money?
-
I was lucky and bagged myself the fire mask the sparrow and the ghost + a few masks but there is still so much I need, Bungie should allow other destiny players who are not up to spending incredible amounts of money towards the full festival of the lost gear.
-
2 RespuestasThat blows! I spent about 20 to get the fire armor. . It was worth it. No need to buy anymore silver now.. I sure do wish it there was a different way to get the ornaments ya want tho
-
1 RespuestaThe gradual loss of enjoyment was funny. The disappointment at the end though...yeah that's destiny
-
1 RespuestaWow that was really painful to watch.. I have no idea why they make everything RNG.. in World of Warcraft Blizzard makes items a flat rate. So you literally know what you are spending and what that item is worth. But this.. this is rediculous.
-
3 RespuestasSo much this. I spent 20 bucks on a silver and got the -blam!-ing masks. No sparrows, ornaments, or ghosts. Went against my better judgement and spent money on this dumb shit, only to be beyond disappointed. Obviously if ur Shelling cash for certain COSMETIC items, u should get them. Not gonna break anything so why RNG??

Editado por Majestic Kitten: 10/30/2016 7:43:49 AMBungie is probably going to turn into a pay-to-win franchise. I wasted all of my money on the Festival packages and got shit in return. I hate gambling, but that's what these packages are. Random Number Generators should not be used when you pay real (swear word)-ing money.
-
4 RespuestasThe worst thing about this is the packages are giving you NOTHING of value, either in game or out. Dude spent 50 bucks to get a bunch of last years masks and some tat. He got one ghost, and not the one he wanted. He paid more than the entire game. To. Get. One. Ghost. This video is the best example of the worst kind of business practice I have ever seen.
-
Even the shills at IGN are supporting the backlash against Bungie over this stuff.
-
3 RespuestasWhy are you guys so disgusted by this? Have you forgotten this game is backed by Activision? Did you guys forget how Activision has destroyed COD amongst other games with micro transactions around RNG? 1.Go to YouTube 2. Go to Search. 3. Type in "COD Supply Drops" Speak with your wallets. The guy who made this video is no different than all those filthy COD YouTubers who make Supply Drop Videos enticing children to drop money into an RNG system designed to be against you. They have found a legal loop hole to promote gambling to underage children/young adults. FIGHT BACK
-
If Bungie wanted to make customers happy, they'd put exact prices on everything and let the customer choose what to buy and what to ignore. Flaming wolf mask, 400; ghost-ghost, 200, bat-spawn potion, 10... Eververse purchases are just a disguised form of gambling; the goal is to extract as much money from you as possible. I'm honestly surprised that the ESRB doesn't flag this in game ratings.
-
Thank you I was going to buy 5800 silver. Not if you get repeats. You missed out on my money @Bungie
-
9 RespuestasThe biggest problem i see is that it is basically gambling.Your spending money on a chance that may or may not happen. What you do with your money is your choice, and how ever you choose to spend it, but what Bungie is doing is promoting gambling.
-
1 RespuestaI only spent $5 on silver but spent all day grinding to get the 3 free from each guardian, and i only got a few consumables, I then i found out how bad the drop rate was for anything worth the time i spent playing, I am done with destiny and their greedy publishers I and there is a very low chance of me buying anything else from Bungie or Activision, I use to be a fan until now
-
I feel so sorry for this guy I somehow got the 10$ free win from Sony and spent it to buy silver a while back and I didn't spend it except on 2 radiant packages and I hadn't spent the starting silver ether. Now today I just bought like two packages today for the festival because why not and got the Ghost Ghost in ONE of the packages and now this, just is sad.
-
I'm genuinely angry right now
-
1 RespuestaTrue RNG right there. I can say I lucked out only spending $20 and getting the firewolf, sparrow, and devil ghost. Sucks though when it doesn't happen to everyone though
-
Sweet sweet capitalism
-
Trick or treat?
-
Bought $60 dollars worth of silver. Got the Ghost Ghost on my very last treasure.
I regret nothing.
