So I just stayed in rotation for 20 consecutive crucible matches.. popped 20 3oC and received not 1 exotic. So I'm asking you to either bump up the drop rate or make it so it stays until upon defeating an ultra an exotic drops.
Please and thank you.
Edit: 6 more and I received a primary 2 light levels lover than my worse weapon.. thanks.

So far this week I've used 18 coins and gotten 3 exotics. One helmet and 2 heavy weapons. Seems fine to me.

Not needed. They work exactly like their description says

Editado por Kardain: 10/28/2016 8:06:02 AMA couple buddies and I were discussing 3oC over party chat. This is what we decided... Problem: Currently, there is a "chance" of receiving an exotic per 3oC. The only folks that know the exact chance would be Bungie.
Anecdotal evidence does not count. Lacking a known baseline from the source, it is near impossible to determine what the chance may be by the end user.
Solution: Give them a fixed chance (example: 5%) and update the tooltip accordingly. --- Problem: Currently, the effect is "stackable." What is unknown by the end user is how this stack effect works. Solution: The stack effect will still be there, however upon meeting one criteria for redemption the stack value reduces by 1.
For this, say you use 10 3oC at one time. As it is now, on killing an ultra or completion of a crucible match, all 10 are consumed at once. The proposed solution would allow the stack effect to continue over the course of 10 kills/games whether or not an exotic drops. The stack effect does not increase chance (for balance). This enables a player to pre-use 3oC and not have to concern themselves between matches/kills for that given amount in case of loadout changes, micromanaging inventory between strikes (f-ing greens), or just plain forgetting. Using this example, the icon on the Character screen would show Exotic Particles x10, then x9, and so on.
Possible addition to above, balancing: Each 3oC has a timers of 20 minutes at which point the stack value reduces by 1 automatically if unredeemed. Using another 3oC to replenish the stack does not reset the timer. 20 minutes is ample time for most/all crucible games (although iffy if elimination/trials) and at least the non-heroic strikes. The issue here is possible conflict between a successful redemption and the timer expiry...
Not my suggestion, but including it nonetheless. Improvement to that part would be ideal
--- Problem: Invisible cooldown Solution: remove cooldown altogether and lower the chance percentage. Update tooltip accordingly.
Edited for grammar
Worked fine for me last night. Killed the ultra knight 9 times and got 2 exotics, both of which were of higher light.
-
I get an exotic every 2-3 games.
-
I 've used 30 in a row and nothing.........@#$$/^/$@@&^$
-
Fine as is. They dont guarantee anything. Just a chance

TBH Im with the OP on this one I loved it year 1 waiting for the rewards screen and BOOM exotic drops thats the single most aweaome feeling in destiny qith the 3oC i think it takes the suspense out of it. Remove them and buff drop rate in RNG on strikes and Other activities.
This is how we rolled is Y1 the Legends of Destiny
2 RespuestasBetter yet throw out this 3oc fraud and put exotics back the way they were. I got more exotics before the 3oc was introduced than after.
-
10 Respuestas3oC needs to work in the forge.

2 RespuestasRemember seeing exotics drop in the Crucible? Good times.

1 RespuestaI usually pick up an exotic from every 5-6 3oC if I wait at least 10 minutes between boss kills or Crucible finish, or about an hour per exotic. OP was probably finishing matches too quickly, which happens often on the right playlists. I've seem some talk on these forums challenging the existence of the cooldown. Just for fun I tested the existence of the cooldown yesterday. To run the test I went to Venus and killed the Gatelord. Then I quickly went to orbit and came back to immediately kill it again. I could get 1 kill about every 2 minutes. The first exotic drop took 11 coins. The second exotic drop drop took 15 coins. So it's clear the cooldown is real. However, you can pick up exotics at a faster rate than 1 per hour. A team running Iron Tomb could quickly dispatch two bosses before wiping and starting again. However, this is an inefficient use of Three of Coins and not very fun. You also miss out on Crucible drops (which go up to 400) and the possibility of Skeleton Keys (which drop maybe once every 10 strikes).

3 RespuestasI'm under the impression that each update they stealth nerf them

Buffing isn't the issue, it's Bungie's RNG code that needs to be re-worked... again!
-QA Test Engineer (a.k.a. AR IS4 NUBS)
I can make an exotic out of 2-6 three of coins. Its alright as it is now. The problem is only 3 per day.
-
They give you a chance of an excotic drop. You could use 100 but there's no guarantee you'll get an excotic.

1 RespuestaEditado por KannibalKlown: 10/26/2016 7:29:37 PMThey've always had the occasional unlucky streak. Since they first released. But of course, no. You try to tell people that in the opening weeks and they say "STFU liar, it's guaranteed in 10" or "It's in 1 in 5" And every week someone also says OMFG they were NERFED! Since their opening week, even using 1 at a time, the occasional 25+ unlucky streak happens from time to time. I keep a nice little Stenno notepad on my coffee table with hash-marks of "misses" and "hits" I'm at a 1-in-9 average, factoring in lucky 1-in-3's and cruddy 1-in-27's

Editado por MechanicalMercy: 10/27/2016 1:44:40 AMI switched from xbox to PlayStation and I have purchased over 100 3oC and only received maybe ten exotic engrams... And I have 30 on my main and a handful on each alternate.
-
I've had days like that. Then I've had days where I drop an abnormal amount of exotics. Unfortunately the rng gods hate you this time around.
-
working just fine. u just experience bad rng. i used 15 coins and got 5 exotics.
-
I played 5 games and got 3 exotics best day ever. The little Bolivian loved me that day

7 RespuestasIf it becomes too easy to get exotics, there will be no grind what so ever. Not what most people want, especially Y1 players.

I don't have a problem.

12 RespuestasWhy would Bungie buff it when they just nerfed it before ROI came out?
