The six of us all ran around, shooting the enemy. Phantom was enraged from our betrayal. He phased in front of James, who punched him in the face. Phantom vanished, and we continued the fight. The Taken all turned their guns to the Shattered Sun champion. "We can't let the Taken kill him! Stop the Taken!!" I yelled. "I got this!" Kourtney said with overflowing excitement. She channeled all of her Arc energy into her knife, and began cutting through the Taken. She was a blue blur dancing through the horde. With her last bit of energy, she launched a shockwave of Arc energy into Thalnok, causing the knight to freeze up in pain. "HEYYY!!!" I yelled as I shot at the Shattered Sun. "Come get me, you b******!" I began dancing in one spot, taunting the knight. It stared down onto me, then swung the mighty sword. "Oh, s***!" I tried to jump to cover but he hit me with the sword. Kourtney quickly revived me. "Thanks," I said. Thalnok was back up, fighting the champion. Their swords clashed against once another, causing thundering booms in the ship. It became hard to hear with the thuums pounding into our ears. Phantom, hiding on the stage, spawned more Taken to fight us and overpower the knight. "I got a buble in the back!!" Blake yells as he ejects Void into the fight. He broke the neck a Taken thrall when it entered the ward. We all gathered in the Void dome to reload and catch a breather. "Look!" Kourtney yelled. The knight had fallen to one knee from the barrage of bullets hitting it. Thalnok raised his sword in the air, going for a killing blow. Morin took his Hammer of Sol from the belt loop, ran out of the ward, and threw many hammers into Thalnok's face. The knight placed his hand on his burning face. "Take care of the Taken!!" I demanded. We all ran out trying to kill off the infections. Morin waved his hands in the air as he jumped, trying to get the attention of the Shattered Sun. The knight took a swing at the titan, who narrowly avoided the cleaver. Once again, the Court shook violently. It groaned in pain as it began to break and shatter. Phantom summoned some wizards into the fight. They started chanting spells, singing songs, as they tried to repair where the Shattered Sun cracked the floor. They fixed one location, then tried to fix the other. Blake threw two magnetic grenades at the wizards, killing them. Dakota held the trigger of his auto rifle as he shot the orange, fiery knight. It turned to Dakota and swung. Dakota couldn't get out of the way, and was killed by the sword. He stood back up in a blazing fire, blinding Taken around him. He lobbed grenades into Thalnok before he could kill the Shattered Sun. The Taken knight backed away from the inferno Dakota had created. Kourtney and I killed Taken. We stood back to back as we shot anything that attacked. I could tell we were infuriating Phantom. A Taken psion quickly splint into eight psions. I pulled out my knives, and threw one into each psions' head. They all fell backwards, dead. Blake and Dakota drew out their swords and began cutting through the Taken. They had to have killed fifteen each. They cleaned off their blood covered blades before rengaging the enemy. Morin took a hammer, ran around the Court, and beat the s*** out of any Taken that was in swinging distance. He generated many orbs on that run. James let several Taken surround him. Their bullets began denting his armor and cutting the cloth under-armor. Nonetheless, he endured. Blood began seeping onto his white plasteel plating. Arc energy engulfed his fists as he leapt into the air, then punched the ground! Taken corpses sparking with electricity flew away from him. James pulled his rocket launcher from his back and shot Thalnok in the gut with it. The knight fell to his knees as it held his stomach. James tried to piss off the Shattered Sun. "Come on, you f***er! You know you want to kill me!" The knight swung again. Rage fueled it as the knight brought down the sword with a loud BANG! I fell into the dirt as the Court began to shift under our feet. Phantom appeared behind James as he gunned down a Taken captain. "JAMES!!" Morin hollered. James looked up to Morin as Morin chunked a hammer to him. James caught the hammer, turned around, and uppercutted Phantom with the flaming weapon. Phantom flew a couple of feet before hitting the ground and vanishing again. "Alan, take care of Crota Jr! I got the newbie!" Blake yelled. I summoned a Golden Gun and shot Thalnok's sword hand. The hand burned away, causing the knight to shriek out in an ear piercing scream. The sword fell onto the stage and propped up beside the rupture. Blake took potshots at the Shattered Sun's face. It looked to Blake, roared, and swung. Blake jumped into the air, and evaded to the right, dodging the sword. "Whoop!" He cried out. The knight raised the sword again and swung again. Blake evaded to the left this time. The Court took all the beating it could handle. It began to break free of the hallway. "Get back!!" I yelled. We ran for the safety of the summoning chamber. Phantom ran with us, trying to kill us for our disruption of his plan. Dakota turned around and force pushed him back to the Court. Thalnok, the Shattered Sun, and Phantom started sliding to the back of the Court as it tipped downward. Phantom began to phase from this dimension. I pulled back on my Void bow and fired an arrow that passed right through him and stuck to the stage. The anchor reached into the void and pulled Phantom back by the throat. "You thought the Void would save you?! You thought the Void would protect you as you phase between dimensions, leaving no trail?! Not today! Not now! Not here!! Now, the Void gives its allegiance to me. The Void has brought your demise!!" Phantom, held in place by the Void arrow, could not phase away and fell into the abyss with the two knights. A couple of minutes later, a loud explosion marked the death of the three monsters. I exhaled loudly. "It's done... Phantom is defeated... We won't have to deal with him again..." I said as I looked to Wolf Pack. James and Morin gave me thumbs up. Blake patted my shoulder as he walked by. Dakota simply nodded with approval. Kourtney hugged me tightly, "That b****** won't be bothering you anymore. And he won't be Taking anymore people," she whispered into my ear.
