I realized something while playing Overwatch.

I realized that one of Bungie's best decisions has been to exclude matchmaking from raids and ToO. I queued up with 2 of my friends in competitive and then quick play on Overwatch, and we were just getting THEE most horrid teammates. From terrible character choices, zero awareness, to just down right lacking common sense, these players were nothing but a hindrance. If it's one positive thing I have to say about Bungie is that they made the correct choice in excluding matchmaking from raids and ToO (while I do admit it should be added to Nightfalls). To the people who have no friends still playing Destiny, rather than crying about being excluded from end game activities, find a group or make your own. Stop being a lazy sack of shit. (excuse my insensitivity to social anxiety) **edit: I came back to peruse some of these comments and it's astonishing to see so many people who lack reading comprehension or the ability to read. First of all, I did not make any comparisons between OW and Destiny. I simply described a realization about matchmaking followed by a brief description of my experience while playing Overwatch (as my topic title suggests). Second, never in my post did I mention that I wanted matchmaking to be abolished. I simply complimented Bungie to excluded matchmaking from activities that require heavy communication and teamwork such as raids and ToO. And about optional matchmaking, no it personally does me no harm for it to exist and it's something I couldn't care less about. To be realistic, you won't see it in D1. Maybe in D2.
