Despite its flaws, destiny is a legendary game.
Sure, pvp will probably never be balanced and pve is a repetitive grindfest... But somehow destiny has managed to keep us entertained going into its 3rd year. We can all admit that the gunplay is likely the best we've ever seen in a fps and the raids are true gems. I hope destiny 2 just improves on this already great game with more pve content and more distinct weapons and classes. Yes we cry and complain in the few areas that come up short, but think about the standard we hold this game to compared to others. Just look at your play times. So I'll be the first to say thank you bungie.. Even though I cried about you breaking Titans in pvp and you not having dedicated servers, just know you are appreciated.

171 RespuestasIf you actually believe what you said, let me tell you something you're dead wrong. Destiny gun play is one of the worse, they also lost 33 million players so what does that say? The games crap, I'm still only playing to once again perfect the game.

It's not the gameplay, or the story, or anything of the mater, it's the community that has kept this game going. And I'm proud to be a part of this community.

2 RespuestasRise of Iron was a knee-jerk attempt to placate potential paying customers because Bunglevi$ion screwed up Destiny 2. The only thing I find "legendary" about Destiny 1 is I was stupid enough to continue to purchase expansions. THAT is MY fault, and a mistake I can rectify. I purchased RoI because of my clan. We wanted to give it a chance because, yes it IS fun with friends. We all had hopes for redemption. Then half a dozen of us in the clan waited for the September 20th roll out. Well, we all know how "legendary" THAT was. Unfortunately, there has been little in the way of recovery for RoI. Filled with "bugs" and "glitches" still 3 weeks in with only a vague "promise" from our CM's that they are "investigating". Crucible? Still waiting for the punchline there.

The only 'legendary' part about this game, personally, are the graphics. Some of the weapons, some of the armors, and every environment are truly amazing. The thing is though, I just can't fully enjoy the game when everything fun and interesting that I find gets nerfed with the next 'fix.' It's addicting, I'll give it that, whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.

TBH PvP is probably the most balanced it has ever been, except for snipers, which need to be buffed a bit.

But now it makes me nostalgic because I have some clips of the beta when I was in the DZ and stuff, it was so fun.

1 Respuestadestiny 1 was a great game, TDB and HoW were droplets of content to keep us begging for more, TTK is were the game really found its feet and I think it's a great dlc and now we're into rise of iron, destiny has truly taken off and there's only minor things that we can point out, well done bungie, well done indeed

15 RespuestasThe gun game is def not the best ever that's for sure. And it isn't the balance that bothers me as much as the lag and stupid connection model they used for the game. The raids are fun, a few times. But let's be real here. The game isn't legendary because it's good, it's fun to play with friends. Honestly who here still gets on for just to play by themselves everyday?

Imo a legendary game would not have had the issues destiny has had since day 1. And they would have to have dedicated servers. Again, just my opinion.

EDIT: People don't seem to get the joke I'm referring to "Destiny" as an in-game reusable item, so for that, everyone who said I was lying or bad, you guys can't decipher the joke, almost like the ARG involving that code from Last Exit.
