Xur should sell skeleton keys
He sells three of coins for exotics so why not skeleton keys for strike specific loot
Edit 1: or increase drop rate for skeleton keys
Edit 2: xur probably shouldn't sell them but they should increase drop rate

If xur sold skeleton keys then everybody will have strike specific loot in no time, but honestly you won't have that feeling of accomplishment if this was to happen. I feel well rewarded when a key drops. But instead of xur selling them. Make a weekly quest or activity that will drop a key once completed or something.

2 RespuestasSelling something like a skeleton key that "guarantees" a drop at high light is a terrible idea. Ruins the purpose of it being special at all. I do agree the drop rate for it could be increased a little bit, though.

If he did here is how I think he should do it. He should give you a key in exchange for legendary marks. My thought maybe 75 legendary marks per key? I mean it takes legendary marks to upgrade them to higher light levels and you only get legendary marks from dismantling them. I think this is simple and fair because if anyone's like me then you have already bought all the vendor gear you want.

Why do people continue to harp on about skeleton keys? Strike specific loot isn't supposed to be easy to get you fools. Because if they ever do increase the drop rate, there will be forum posts saying how too many people have strike specific loot. Just leave it alone and play the game if you want your goddamn skeleton key.

Yeah he should not only sell them but exotic shards as well. Or make skeleton keys drop like candy. Not just 1 on the team getting a drop, all 3 when they do drop.

1 RespuestaThere should be one way to earn 1 key a week. Say complete the night fall earn a key just one not one per character. Like you get 1 treasure box for doing a strike.

2 RespuestasI don't seem to have a problem getting skeleton keys. They drop often enough that I always have 2 or 3 in inventory. Now, I don't use them on every strike because I already have much of the strike gear, but still, I've never had less than 2 since they first began to drop. Regardless, if Xur were to sell them I think they should be at a somewhat steep price, say 50 strange coins or so.

9 RespuestasIt would get pointless buying skeleton keys after a couple of weeks. It would be almost the same drops everytime, and there isnt that many strikes. Good idea, but i think after maybe 3-4 weeks it would stall out.

Skeleton Keys are meant to make Strike Specific loot harder to get, not easier.
