Trophy 'Student of History' glitched
I have attuned all 8 artifacts, got the emblem 'Sigil of the Young Wolf' but no Trophy. :(
EDIT: It's fixed now. :D

You suddenly got it after the update 2.5.0? I have all 8 artifacts attuned on all 3 characters and was expecting this trophy but nothing happened...

Attuned all 8 artifacts about 2 weeks ago, got the ROI book entry and emblem without issue when 8th artifact was attuned. No Achievement (XB1). Since then have made several resets to the console and changed profile (and other help guide suggestions) many times. This week decided to finally get the 'Sing the Iron Song' achievement done, got the task done, the wolfs howled etc and no achievement so did the change profile 'trick' just once. The 'Sing the Iron Song' achievement then showed up but the 'Student of History' still did not. Basically the change profile trick worked for the bells acheivement but not the artifacts one. This is the only game I own that 'features' this problem with achievements, which is further frustrated by the fact that the problem has existed since the game was launched back in September 2014 (even prompted the help guide relating to achievements to be published in November 2014). Surely Bungie (or the service provider between them and the Xbox Live service that is causing the issue) can fix this in less time than 2 years, or can find a workaround for players plagued by it that is actually reliable 100% of the time.

I have attuned 8 artifacts on all characters and the book marked as having all 8. I tried this step : https://www.bungie.net/7_A-Trophy-or-an-Achievement-did-not-unlock-in-the-g/fr/Help/Article/12242 But still no trophy.

4 RespuestasI've had the 8 artifacts the moment the third week of rise began. Received the achievement and emblem, yet no trophy. Have attuned all 8 on all three of my toons. The passive side of me thinks that the internal workings of the game want a single character to acquire/earn 8 coins from the weekly and get all 8 on its own merit. We've all managed to work the system and completed book stuff but the dynamics of the trophy system is finer tuned. There is still 4 weeks to go for a single character to have acquired 8 on their own without the aid of their two sidekicks.

Same problem for me. All characters have attuned 8 artifacts and the book is checked. I've got the emblem but not the trophy.... And the grimoire card problem too (efrideet, khvostov p90, beauty in destruction, etc...) Thanks

3 RespuestasYeah, it seems like a relatively common issue. There is definitely a bug when it comes to triggering the achievement/trophy and the emblem related to the same action. Also there's nothing the players can do to retry the achievement/trophy once it glitches, because the trigger seems to be tied to the in-game progression tracker, which in turn is account-based and cannot be reset. Basically if you don't get it, there's absolutely nothing you can do on your end to fix the situation. That said, it would be nice if this could be looked into. Achievements and trophies probably aren't very high on the list of things to fix, but the fact that they are not functioning properly can negatively impact the overall game experience of several people.

Worst thing is, all we will even get from bungie is a link to that stupid help forum that talks about not unlocking achievements, because apparently, its always the players fault and there is no way that bungie could have incorrectly programmed the achievement. Just face it, the achievement will never get fixed because bungie thinks they are too good to have made such a minute mistake. Instead they will spam us with "sign out and log back in" until we just stop playing the game altogether.

Same problem here did all of it but still no achievement. Even got the emblem, equipped them all, attuned them all on all 3 characters.
