SLEEPER SIMULANT > GJALLARHORN
Last week, I completed a the raid 5 times (3 times for rewards, twice to help out friends) and EVERY RAID i went into, someone would moan at me for using sleeper simulant instead of gjallarhorn/iron gjallarhorn) People should know by now that sleeper does so much more damage than gjallarhorn, as ghorn took a big nerf before the dlc dropped.
Basically, if you have sleeper, USE IT. It's the second most damaging weapon at asksis, only losing to the cannons. To get the most damage use 3x sleepers 3x cannons, weapons of light, tether and Viking funeral. so much damage

People should play with what their comfortable with and not forced to play with a weapon they don't really use or like, as long as you're DPSing who cares.

The only reason people don't realise how powerful it is is because you need crits, where as Ghorn can be a fire and forget type affair, much easier to use for some.

I haven't used ghorn since the update. Didn't even use it in the mission you get it in. I used it a lot in y1 but yeah, sleeper is the best. Hell nowadays I prefer dragons breath over ghorn.

I......actually agree? Damn, never thought I'd say that. Yeah, I just completed aksis first time 25 minutes ago, and we all had sleeper and use cannons. Holy shit, the damage we managed to pump out. Normally I'd use the cannon, then switch to the sleeper and rail 9 shots on his head, before pulling out Devils dawn to do more. Not to mention weapons, tether, and lock grenades. Man, that was fun

You can miss a shot with Simulant and lose precious ammo, but it's much harder to do with Gjallarhorn.

Gjall is just more reliable. Fire and forget rockets in the middle of a raid are a lot easier than something requiring aim and crit hits.

You should get the Outbreak Prime and then revisit the Sleeper Simulant to see which does more total damage to the bosses.

Although if you can manipulate sleepers ricochet you could make it do as much damage in one shot than two clips total I have a idea how to but it's experimental at the moment and I'm going to test it

11 RespuestasI still prefer gally because it fits as a jack of all trades weapon, swarm of shanks? Captain giving you trouble? Need to snipe that captain half way across the bridge on zamboni? Need to damage a boss? Need to prove yourself as a true year one bad ass veteran? Need to watch enemies explode in the most fun way possible? Gally can do all of that while sleeper can only do some, but what it can do it can do a reall fuxking good job at it

Meh, Outbreak Prime > both of them for the boss. And who really cares? Cannon >>>>>>>> any other form of damage. It's all peanuts compared to cannons.

I feel like sleeper is good for single bosses, where ghorn should be used for clearing big groups of enemies

2 RespuestasActually, I have a Her Fury with casket mag and triple tap. gives me 7 shots before reloading. I think it would give the sleeper a run for its money.

The only issue with the Simulant is that it needs to hit for the damage to happen. Only use it if you can hit stuff with it. Otherwise stick with the Gajallinghorn.

Agreed. I actually used sleeper the first go. The only thing gally really has is multiple ad clearing ability.
