So this happened. Running random strikes and Omni pops. Not a word from the other 2 the entire strike until after I ran through the ogre part into the first room. I cleared all the trash minus a Knight when I get a party invite. I accept and immediately I'm getting yelled at. I chose not to respond until they calmed down. They're upset because they wanted to farm her, and then asked me if I had autism because I went to the boss room.
(Which I do not take as in insult. I've taught autistic kids and some of them are smarter than most adults Ive met and they tend to find the more efficient way to do stuff. Of course that depends on where in the spectrum they fall.)
I then told them that she can be farmed on normal and maybe they should have said something to me before we got there and or get a 3rd they know instead of expecting a random to read their minds. They told me to solo her and they were gonna sit back and waste my time. I said OK. Used my sidearm and took my sweet time. They ended up leaving when she was about 10%. I laughed and finished the strike. They could have avoided the whole ordeal if they would have said something from the start. Heck I would of gladly left. Communication is key. Meanwhile I feel like a badass for the solo kill. Good luck out there and try to remember to be nice lol.
Edit 1. Thank you for everyone that understood my perspective on this situation. That the focul point wasn't that I had anything against farming but that simply talking could have prevented grief on both sides. And much respect for the positive understanding of autism. If any of you happen to be on Xbox-one please feel free to friend request me or even a clan invite would be appreciated. HFGL

2 RespuestasGood on you, whenever I go farming I always message or dance til they look at me and hold up my sword. Sometimes their down, sometimes not, if not I just finish the strike and leave before the next strike starts. My headset is on the fritz at the moment lol

1 RespuestaIts nothing ...today i play omnigul strike with idiot who does nothing only follow us when i or my friend die he teabags us and when we both die he kills yourself with rocket launcher... these idiots must be banned

Need 1 more for farm
-
I would have done the same thing, except I would have gone for a smoke and a snack before soloing her.
-
4 RespuestasI'm not sure but I think I read somewhere that Bungie fixed it so you can't farm her before the final room anyway. Could be wrong.
-
They left when she was at 10%? They wasted their time. If I was in one of their positions, I would have just given up and helped you at that point.

2 RespuestasEditado por Snake: 9/23/2016 6:50:57 PMthere is no REAL reason to farm omnigul anymore because of the skelly keys (thats why bungie added them and the chest at the end, to try to stop people farming certain strikes), so keep playing full strikes till you find a key (you have around a 25% chance of finding one) then do the omnigul strike and open the chest you have a 50% chance of getting either a grasp or a bond. edit: 10-15 mins a strike (quick runs) x lets say 5 at the most = around an hour to get a key most of the time. 15 mins to run the omnigul strike for a 50% chance to get the grasp of malok. compare that to the fact that i have killed omnigul for 4 hours and still not got the grasp of malok from her when farming and the first time i ran omnigul with a skelly key i got the grasp of malok with a fairly good roll.

You used a sidearm? HAH! If I was insulted like that (mild Aspergers) then I would have switched to defender with the blessing buff and attacked her with nothing but a suppressor grenade and melees. Autism is used to be an insult when really, all your top CEOs (Steven Jobs, Bill Gates, ETC.) are all on the mild Aspergers side of the spectrum. Props to you though, please tell me you skeleton keyed the chest and got a god roll everything available? You are legend already.

1 RespuestaNeed two for omni farming. Message Gt: Madrid The God
-
2 RespuestasIdiots didn't know know you could do it on a normal strike lol
-
2 RespuestasCan someone explain, how/why people are farming omnigul again?
-
Jokes on them. They still would have gotten rewards had they stayed.
-
Who knew you could farm corn, beans, wheat, and engrams on Omniguls behind..
-
Communication is key! You sound like my kind of player. I'll add you. And yeah, that super lame how they acted. Immature and silly really. So lame that once again a way to abuse the drop system exists, and Bungee could have fixed it before making the strike high level. Now all the abusers will be higher leveled than others....again.

20 RespuestasLmao a similar thing happened to me. I join two people on Will of Crota and they're just sat at the cheese bit. I wave and whatnot and then notice they're less than 340 light. What the heck I say but wait.. I get a message! 'Can you leave we wanna get our girl friend levelled'. Me: Err tough shit you got me! I'll leave after a few I gotta go soon anyway. They proceed to sit down and message me abuse. I proceed to solo the rest and absolutely smash everyone in those two rooms. The salt flows. :)

1 RespuestaOne of the reasons why I don't like running omnigul strikes. Having a similar situation, getting invited to the two teammates into their party. Then, they annoyingly shout at me to farm Omnigul or otherwise become morons and not help. Funny thing, most of the teammates at the omnigul strikes I've been through were adults acting like picky children. Why do some still want to farm omnigul? Grasp of Malok is that good? -_- Meh.
-
That's not right. If they wanted to farm that's well and good but they should have went in with a team of three rather than matchmake with a third and expect them to fall in line with their plans.
-
But, but, but if I'm not raid ready today I might die. Said everyone in their parents basement.
-
3 RespuestasPersonally would have reported them for cheating, vulgarity, and unsportsmanlike game play. Toss in a avoid/dislike so I would not get matched with those twats again too. Life is too short to play with people who mentally have not moved passed being a spoiled child.
-
Sorry you had to experience the "true bad players of Destiny". They're the ones who make a bad name for the rest of us. :/

Editado por Shadowdragon: 9/23/2016 4:55:09 PMThis reminds me of an incident of a VERY ignorant player I ran into not too long ago. The guy joins in a PoE match and what does he do? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! As soon as it starts, he goes to a spot to AFK or dies just for us to revive him and him die immediately after. We get to a round to dismantle mines (Fallen) and we couldn't do it cause the mines were too far apart and nobody bothered (The guy) to get to one of the mines. The other was KIA so it was all up to me and surely I couldn't jump the gap fast enough. We not only had to restart the round, the bastard just up and left. Good thing too cause we did SO MUCH BETTER without him. Look, if you don't want to play...then DON'T JOIN! You're wasting everyone's time when you do crap like that.
-
Yeah there are some really nasty persons in Destiny. Unfortunately.
-
I thought you were gonna be one of those guys that are angry that people are doing this at first lol.
-
Dude you seem like a cool guy I'll gladly sent you a friend request. Join my clan if you want. All are welcome as long as you play by the rules. The Christian Alliance

Since you already blew there spawn point it would of made since for them to simply help you and collect some rewards opposed to getting nothing for all their efforts. Kinda lame lol Good on you.
-
This is why I never accept invites from randoms when doing strikes.
