I once read a story of some guy playing destiny , when he gets an invite from some random player That he is doing the strike with , starts getting chewed on by a female player. telling how much he sucks and screaming in a high pitch voice that she knows that he will never get a date and calling him a useless piece of shit and telling him , I bet your mother abandoned your ass for being so ugly . when he says ... Emily ...? And she goes ... Bryan ..?? He just gets out from the party , calls her and he says , have a nice day at the prom by yourself , we are through , i don't want to ever see your face again , turns out his mother died from cancer last year so her comment was the last straw . The point was . Don't be a dick to people online just because you have anonymity. Because if you act nice offline and And act like a douchebag online , that means that you are a fake person and that the online persona is the real you .

Gz on the solo boss kill. I also ran into a weird scenario, involving the Omnigul farm. I ran the 320 strike through Director with two other clan mates. At the portion where the waves of Fallen appear by the satellite relays, one clan member gets booted from the game (was making +7 orbs at the time when the game crashed. I notate this because this also happened to me when I was using my Bladedancer super). Now before my clan mate has time to boot the game and sign in, a random drops into our Fireteam. I think, "No big deal. I'll just message them and tell them the situation". The guy doesn't leave. I wait 5 minutes before messaging them again. Now the random is shooting at me and my other clan mate, who have now used the "sit" emote. My clan mate in the fireteam then decides to send a not-so-polite message to the random. The random reacts by replying to my clan mate "Not leaving". Now I'm a stubborn guy. I'm not thinking rationally by just returning to orbit. Oh no. I made this guy wait 18 minutes, remembering to move my controller ever so slightly while streaming youtube on my tablet. The random finally drops out of our fireteam, but not before sending a message to my clan mate, calling them a -blam!-. Upon reading this post and thinking back to that instance, could I have done something different? Were we in the wrong for wanting to farm with a clan mate who started the strike with us and was also eager to get +350 LL gear? Or was this random just being a little bitch?

At least they were of some help during the mission. With skeleton keys now a thing, I'm seeing a lot of players quit heroics at spawn if its not the strike they're looking for. The game may or may not match someone else into the strike. That or they go AFK in the normal strike list to cheese their way through the record book achievement.

What are they farming for? Grasp of Malok?

I never accept party invites in Destiny. If I wanted to listen to kids screaming I'd go to Chuck E. Cheese.

You just can't really avoid running into morons in this community. Not all are, but I've learned that there are quite a few. My response would've been similar to yours, but not quite so nice. I probably would've let them know how "smart" they were for going into the random strike list to farm a particular strike. I then would have told them, "Oh, what a coincidence, that's exactly what I was going to do." As I proceeded to sit down with them, while I hit report on each of them for about 10 minutes straight. Then, I would've gone on to finish the strike when they left. Also, It astounds me that now days, "Autism" has become the new "Retarded". I mean, it doesn't even mean what they think it means. Asking someone who "messes up" if they have autism, makes about as much sense as asking them if they lung cancer. Some alternatives that would be closer to what they're meaning would be: The classic... "retarded", something new "alzheimers", "brain tumor", these would be closer than autism to what they mean. Most people who have autism are actually really smart, and function quite well. I know, I have a friend who has Asperger's. He has some emotional quirks, he has a thing about textures (won't wear jeans because of the way that they feel), and is awkward in social situations. But, he's really into comic books and Comicon, things like that. He makes these Cosplay costumes that are out of this world! He once made a full chainmail suit out of wire. He actually bent each piece into a little ring and braided it all together. Each ring only had the diameter of about a pencil. There were thousands of them. It took him a few months, but when I saw it, it blew my mind that somebody had made it from hand. He's also a really good writer and does freelance work. He worked for our local paper too. Some of them are actually savants, which means that in one or more particular subject, they are genius level. There are math savants, music savants, artistic savants, video game savants that are autistic. They are usually so good at their particular thing, that it's almost humanly impossible for a "normal" person to perform the same thing, at anywhere close the level that the savant does. So, I don't get where this whole "using Autistic to call somebody stupid" thing came from or when it started, but I'm just glad it wasn't my generation that started it. It has to be the millenials that started it. God, I would be so embarrassed if it was mine. Do you think when they grow up and realize what they were saying, they'll be like, "Oh my god. How was I so dumb?" Or do you think they'll always just try prove that they are correct? I'm going to guess it'll be the latter, cuz that's millenials.

I feel you bro the Destiny Community has gone to crap I have no idea what happened but I'm a day 1 player and in the beginning everyone was cool laughing and just having fun like you should because guess what it's a freakin video game... But now everyone is rude obnoxious and stuck up and treating this game like its OIF 2 (Operation Iraqi Freedom )... Honestly it makes me sick and really pisses me off. I was talking to my buddy that's stationed in Japan and the community there was described as fun, and respectful they bow before crucible matches one on one battle no tea bagging that's how it should be ... But the American community is a direct reflection on the current condition on our society racist, no compassion or empathy,arrogant and divisive.

What the heck is an omnigul farm? Just play the damn strike, if you want to do something specific then form your own team.
