Reason I'm not complaining is because bungie finally kicked the last gen consoles out of the game.

Personally I'm going to grind on my Titan and finish him off Then I'm going to Grind with my Warlock and finish him off Then I'm going to Grind with my Hunter and finish him off I'm guessing with the amount of time I have to play I'll have several months worth of game play and easily get my DLC's worth out of it. Keep in mind I'm not a 4-6 hour a day player either. I have Several Call of Duties with DLC's and other various Games and I can tell you hands down I've played Destiny well beyond all of them combined. Is this a $40 value, probably not to some, but if we are playing weeks and weeks after the fact I think yes.

It has a few story missions that the TTK didn't have. What else is it missing? New place space, new raid, new strikes, new exotics. In fact, it even has a new social space that TTK didn't. I'm not saying it has as much to do as the TTK, but it certainly isn't that bad. Also, Imagine this. You pay $110* dollars for a game. But whats that? There's a $10** service fee on top of that? Consumables that cost $5-$10*** a piece, and cosmetic items that cost $20-$150**** a piece. Oh, and to top it off, the game is only 3-4 hours, and all you get to do is spectate. And while you're paying so much, you know that the people that are running the game are making huge profits and are millionaires. But none of this seems to bother you. Why? Because you are at a Baseball game. Or really any sporting event. But we seem to Not care when it comes to that. *Ticket price (varies, $110 was the price of my ticket, but it can go higher or lower depending where you sit) ** Parking Fee (Obviously doesn't have to be payed if you don't drive) ***Concessions food **** Gift Shop But before I get a lot of flack for that not being the same idea. Let's compare other entertainment. Movie theatre tickets $10 for one theatre ticket or $10-$20 to by the DVD/Blu-Ray Paintball: $10 field fee, $20 equipment rental, $30 for 2000 rounds of paint. about 3 hours. I'm not saying there aren't complaints, but if the price of the DLC is "overpriced" It's just barely. It's entertainment, and entertaining is always pricey.

What everyone is also forgetting is the sale of over-priced emotes was supposed to pay for all future updates. The new content is also old content re-wallpapered. Same locations with snow on it lol.

You are missing the fact that peoples definition of value differs greatly. For example, i think spending more than $35,000 on a car is an absolute waste of money, however, lots of people thing differently. I personally get a lot of bang for my buck out these expansions. The way i see it, 30 bucks is less than the price to take my wife to the movies to see a 2 hour film. 30 dollars is also the cost of this dlc, in which i will spend more time in than i do at that movie. Its personal value.

RoI seems to be all of the good things in the past DLCs combined into one good thing, definitely an improvement over TTK and TDB. Only complaints were that the main campaign was too short, skeleton keys drop almost never, and how we can only carry one of each SIVA offering. Overall I really enjoy this expansion. you also forget that we haven't seen the raid yet, and there's plenty of speculation that more missions and strikes will be added later on, similar to the april update.
