Why Do Fusion Rifles Piss People Off?
I have been changing up builds and trying new weapons out lately. I have never once gotten hate mail in the Crucible until this last week when I was trying out my Hitchhiker FR4. I have had probably 5 or 6 messages over about 5 days along the lines of "gratz on being able to use a fusion scrub" lol it's pretty funny really. Do you pro fusioners endure this too? haha :'D

I just post lololol git gud as a reply. I was playing a private match 2v2 with my panta rhei and the opponents were just no match for me. They kept commenting that pussies use fusions so I just stood quiet and went HAM ON THEM. Shrug it off. Fusion takes skill and patience do not forget that

If people don't know how to play against them and counter then, they get incredibly frustrated. Works for every gun type in this game. It's why you have people crying about shottys and snipes still.

Love fusions I still have a light/beware in my vault from vanilla destiny, still use it in PvP it has an insane charge rate, I think people don't like em because if used right there is nowhere to run or hide from the blast. A one shot one kill weapon

I was msg once by someone telling me his while team reported me. I was using the strangers rifle and plan c. Ended up with a .7 kdr as well

I give people more credit for being able to use stuff like Long Far Gone, Split Shifter Pro and the likes effectively. The Plan C-type fusion rifles aren't that hard to use, and they're the most consistent of all the fusion rifles.

They are hard to use and most people don't want to take time to learn how to use them correctly so they get mad when they get killed by something they aren't good with. Just like most everything else in pvp

The only reason people don't call OP is because they're incredibly difficult to use correctly and a bad fusion user is dead meat. I've gotten plenty of hate though with my Vacancy and Pocket Infinity. Master the charge time and you've won. I got a hate message by a shotgunner once because he did nothing but shotgun. After a few deaths from him corner camping and shotgun rushing I started pre charging around every corner and turning him into ash. The only reason fusions aren't nerfed into the ground now are because it takes an incredible amount of skill and prediction to use a fusion to its full effectiveness. Most players don't, and even fewer are able to do it consistently. So basically what I'm saying is #NerfFusionRifles Edit: No I'm not saying nerf fusion rifles, it was a joke. I was just saying that fusions are incredibly good right now if people actually learn how to use them properly. If it weren't for the fact that they were hard to use they would be considered OP, which is why you get so much hate if you're actually good with a fusion.

Why do they piss people off? Because you can see an inevitable death coming. Like sticky nades, someone sticks you and you just gear the nade hissing until you cartwheel Into the air and die. When you see a fusion charge and there's not quite enough time time to escape, it's similar. You see this purple/blue/orange glow getting brighter and a loud whine and boom.....dead.

82 RespuestasI just tend to stick people who use fusion rifles in the same category as those who use universal remote. -you clearly do not have more gun skill than me so In order to gain a competitive edge you need something that will 1 hit kill me. Unfortunately for fusion users and universal users last word is still OP when in my hands so I combat just fine after a few minor game playing adjustments I start shitting on them. You won't send me sending hate mail over it. I just adapt and overcome your lack of gun skill.
