If my shots are not registering where I put them then the game is no longer fun.
Before you say bloom, yada yada, I see ghost bullets up close from shotguns so often I refuse to use shotguns, from auto rifles occasionally, it's a built in mechanic either malfunctioning or it's a noob protection fail safe to ensure you never hit all your shots no matter how much practice you have.

Editado por Sernik: 9/11/2016 12:20:04 AMI noticed the ghost shotguns rounds too and this was before I knew of the video. Never noticed it before the update but I knew ppl were experiencing it.
-
You're the only person in the history of this game with "ghost bullet" issues using a shotgun .

Editado por ThankYouBungle: 9/10/2016 11:51:44 PMDid you watch the video? Triple hit a crit (kill) shot with a shotgun to the head at close range for 74 damage. That shouldn't be happening, call it what you want but I play enough to know when the game is acting up. Funny thing is I noticed all this back in April and kids on the forums would say the same smart ass shit you are, like I'm somehow an idiot for pointing out a faulty mechanic.

Pvp is wank on this game.sooner Fifa and bf1 come out the better and bungie can suck my dick. There that's one for the fanboys. The guns are garbage. Couldn't hit the broadside of a barn door. Ghost bullets with a shit ton of lag is not good enough. Stop ducking around with these things

From +10ft away while in the middle of a double jump against a falling enemy. Maybe you should watch the dozens of videos on bullet trajectory while jumping that people LIKE Triplewreck have made in the past. Again, far from point blank. I've been on the ground at that distance and not one shot killed other guardians
-
Editado por ThankYouBungle: 9/11/2016 12:07:32 AMThat was more like 4 ft away which should be within the weapons intended range (assuming he's using rangefinder and rifled barrel). That's the point. It doesn't matter if he was doing a backwards hand stand when he hit the crit, he hit it in the intended range only for it to do less than half damage, that's an RNG weapon. Other times you will be at the exact same range as the enemy, you fire first aiming at their head and get like 170 damage off a crit while they kill you from the exact same distance as when you fired your shot, I have nothing to gain here but a better game, that's why I bother.
-
Actually he did full damage, just a partial hit. Again due to jumpshot mechanics. The actual part that hit as a crit landed the full +70dmg. If all the spread would have hit, his opponent would have been screwed. But thats the risk you take with jumpshots.
-
No he's not, I shoot people point blank with a shotgun and it does no damage
-
That's not what happens to bullets in this video so neither one of you apparently know what you're talking about. Point blank shots CAN NOT be effected by the "issue" in the video
-
The issue is shots hitting but not registering, plain and simple.
-
Except it's not... You can see the bullets he's firing are hitting the wall next to the guys head. The video is Bitching about the fact that his "crosshairs" are on his enemy but the bullets aren't hitting. News flash: That's what happens at 50ft with a pistol...
-
Newsflash: That wasn't anywhere near 50ft
-
Each step a guardian takes is about 3 feet. Count the steps in that room. At that distance no a single FR burst would come close to him. HAND CANNONS ARE NOT MEANT FOR CROSS MAP FIREFIGHTS, GET OVER IT
-
Maybe you were watching the wrong video? He was close enough for a fusion rifle to take atleast a quarter of his health. And like I said in previous post, damage fall off hadn't kicked in yet, meaning he was in the weapon's effective range.
-
Damage drop off didn't happen for his thorn because the thorn has a higher Range stat than any other HC, but the range accuracy is an unseen stat that effects all HC equally. You won't have a damage drop off but you will lose accuracy. All HC have the same distance that makes them inaccurate, some HC will have damage drop before that distance, others won't.

Editado por IcyShogun: 9/11/2016 5:24:50 PMOk I think we're talking about different parts of the video. I was referring solely to the first part of the video. He was no more than 30 feet away and was still missing., and he wasn't using thorn
