Solar burn means use guns with the flame symbol
I don't understand why there are so many players in heroic strikes using void and arc guns and not using solar subclasses (this week is solar burn). Are they stupid, or do they just not care? I can't believe people want matchmaking for raids. If they spend 5 minutes in heroic strikes they will see just how stupid people are. These tards can't even match elemental guns and sub classes to the burn modifier. Imagine being in a raid with all of those window lickers! I'd be happy if we could opt out of matchmaking in strikes.
Edit: I forgot to say that I believe some of these players are even too stupid to understand what a burden they are to the rest of the fire team.

1 RespuestaI don't understand when some people don't use a solar subclass, but using arc and void weapons I can understand as there are bounties that require you to get kills with a certain burn. People seem to have forgot about those bounties.

Who cares if people arent using the burn element? Maybe they dont have a weapon with that element yet. Maybe they just dont want to. Maybe they do it to piss off whiners *cough*. Maybe you should get a like-minded fireteam and spare us from you're bitching. Some people are learning or just dicking around, its not a career to everyone. They're just strikes, they're so easy now that its borderline ridiculous. Calm down bro.

5 RespuestasIf I'm Titan or Hunter, I play support role. I still use burn weapons, but my subclass is generally for orb production or easy res. Lock, however...full burn loadout.

solar guns !?!?!?!?! fuk me, I'd just be happy to see 2 other Solar Subclasses. I don't need a Voidwalker and a Bladedancer while trying to Kill Rockets McDickface in the weekly heroics list.

I understand that using solar weapons when playing the heroics this week makes things so much easier. But you got to realize that not everyone has been playing this game long enough to even know there's modifiers. A lot of people don't even have multiple loadouts that are the appropriate light level. If you really want to speed run strikes then find two gaurdians who want to do the same thing. I plan on doing it myself this weekend to farm materials, engrams, motes, etc...

Me personally I don't care what the burn is in a heroic stoke considering the light level difference. I would much rather use a gun I know I'm good with than choose a gun based on the burn.

I give most of them the benefit of the doubt. I think most of it has to do with the daily bounties... Maybe not. I know that I certainly have used "wrong" subclasses or weapons just for those daily bounties, and once I complete them, I switch to the more appropriate one.

If your team's weapon choices are preventing you from completing a strike, then you have more pressing issues to deal with. Seriously, soloing a strike with a burn isn't exactly difficult. Other players are just bonuses

4 RespuestasI feel your pain. I'm not looking to do a 15 minute strike (even if it may not take that long, this is just an example) I want my strikes done quick and onto the next one. People fail to understand that the reason we desire other people to have proper load outs for strikes it so that they get done faster, we get more rep, and we get more loot. I'm not looking to revive the same sword monkey for 8 minutes straight because they are set up properly. I also don't want to waste 10 minutes on the Undying Mind boss strike when we could kill him right as he spawns with snipers. We don't complain because it's hard, we complain because it's taking too long, and we want to get stuff done faster. Plus these things should be common logic.
