Probably the most frustrating part of the exotic sword quests are finding the right people to do the Sunless Cell strike with. Each sword has a particular major knight to defeat and you might be the only one in the fireteam needing a particular kill ,,, for example, if you need the arc knight (for bolt caster) and the other two are looking for the solar knight ( for razelighter) then there's a high chance of them killing the arc knight as he's the first of the three to come out ,,, followed by void and then solar. If your arc knight is killed early, meaning you won't kill Aluk- hul within 30 seconds, then you'll need to do the whole strike again.

The worst part is if you tried match making, you make it to the end, and you explain what needs to be done and in what order, they kill every knight regardless of it's yours or their's and no one gets anything from it.

I Used Destinylfg.net to find people looking to do the sword quest with me, had no problems.
-
Not sure if you're PSN, but I can help. I have done it a couple times. I needed my void warden kill and they both needed the arc warden as well as the solar warden. We actually got all three swords at once. Let me know I can help if needed.

Do I have to have a fireteam who are all doing a sword quest? or can I just do the sunless cell thing with me and some friends, me being the only one with the sword quest
-
Usually people are pretty good about it. I was in the mission and all three of us needed a different sword, we just kept all the knights alive until the end. Just try sending them a message
-
It's a strike that's only for the exotic sword, once your given it the quest step will appear on the dreadnought map and you'll be matchmade with two others.
-
So I can't just invite my friends to help me do it?
-
Yes your friends can do it with you and make it a lot easier but if their not available then it's matchmaking and that can be problematic if, as previously mentioned, the two others are after a different knight from you.

Alright thanks
